Rimuru Tempest, the reincarnated monster slime and leader of the Jura Tempest Federation.

Azusa Aizawa, the 300-year old Witch of the Highlands.

Slimes. For any isekai or RPG protagonist, these are some of the most basic enemies that you can face. One could never expect such a simple creature to eventually lead to such power, yet these two heroes have become the strongest in the world on the backs of these monsters. Will Rimuru turn the tables on this slime-killer? Or will Azusa slay another slime in her name? Let’s find out in a DEATH BATTLE!

Before we start

This will be entirely focusing on the light novel canon of TenSura, along with the manga adaptation, anime adaptation, and various spin offs. The WN is more “popular” as far as battle boarding goes since its assumed to be stronger, but…yeah we don't care lol. LN the version most would be familiar with as it's the one the anime follows, along with just having significantly more content than the WN that it can be more than be analyzed on its own.

This will also include the Isekai Memories mobile game, albeit only the stories that the series creator Fuse himself wrote into the game, as those expand on already established concepts in the light novel and don't contradict anything. In fact, some are just blatantly confirmed canon, such as this, which serves as a prequel to the Tears of the Azure Sea movie.

The names of some characters and skills in TenSura will be different depending on the translation, so if we say something and the scan for a character’s name/skill name is different, that'll be why. We'll remain consistent with naming as to not confuse anyone.

And a heads up since TenSura season 4 is ongoing at the time of this blog, this will obviously contain spoilers for it and beyond since this will be covering all 23 volumes of Slime.

A decent portion of Slime300’s novels have no official nor fan translations unfortunately, so we'll be using MTL, specifically DeepL for accuracy, to read through untranslated content. We'll try to the best of our ability to make sure the translations for anything of note is accurate. For full accuracy, all 29 volumes of the currently released Light Novels, the manga, the anime and the gacha game Witchcraft will be considered. The untranslated volumes include volumes 18-29, though MTL should be enough to understand the most important part of Azusa’s powers.

Lastly, some gifs here likely won't load unless you're on PC, so we recommend reading this on a PC if possible.

Rimuru

Background

Thirty seven year old Satoru Mikami landed a job as a construction worker after graduating college, and has lived alone ever since, trying three times to get a girlfriend, and getting rejected each time. However, he's not super bothered by this (or so he says), since he enjoys the benefits of a bachelor's degree.

On one fateful day, Satoru is meeting up with his junior coworker and friend, Tamura, and his girlfriend, Sawatari, who were about to get married and wanted to ask Satoru for advice. Hearing a nearby commotion, Satoru notices a robber with baring a knife heading towards their direction, with Tamura directly in front of his path. Pushing him aside, Satoru is fatally stabbed, and slowly bleeds out. With his last breath, he asks Tamura to destroy his computer for...reasons. What are best buds for, right? Upon regaining his consciousness, he's surprised to find that he's reincarnated as a slime. Over the months, Satoru slowly adapts to this new body, until he's greeted by a voice speaking directly within his mind, that being the Great Sage, a skill he'd gotten while reincarnating.

While venturing into a nearby cave, he falls into a lake, and thinking quickly, Satoru uses his abilities to absorb a large portion of the water and propels himself out of it. Unbeknownst to him, he landed right next to one of the most feared beings on the planet, Veldora the Storm Dragon. Veldora teaches Satoru how to speak and see in his new body, and after learning the ability Magic Sense to do so, Satoru finally sees Veldora's true appearance.

Informing Satoru about the world he'd reincarnated into, Veldora tells Satoru he'd been imprisoned into a seal called the Infinity Prison by a hero hundreds of years ago. Wanting to free his new friend, Satoru promises Veldora he'll break the seal and devises a plan to absorb Veldora to at least free him from the cave. Before doing so, Veldora suggests they both give each other a name, and Satoru gives Veldora the last name Tempest, while Veldora names him Rimuru Tempest. After absorbing Veldora along with the Infinity Prison and leaving the cave, Rimuru didn't know at the time this would set off later events that would drastically effect the world, or just how infamous Veldora truly was.

Rimuru soon encounters a village of goblins, who ask for his aid in subduing a tribe of wolves, which he accepts. After fortifying the village's barrier, Rimuru and the goblins are attacked by the wolf tribe, but once Rimuru defeats the leader of the tribe, the rest of the wolves surrender and swear allegiance to him. Noticing that many of the monsters lack a name, Rimuru sets to naming all of the goblins and wolves, and it's here that he meets and befriends the wolf Ranga and the goblin Gobta. Rimuru then vows to help the goblins to not only rebuild their village, but also improve it, making it better than ever.

While helping build the town, Rimuru meets a group of adventures, and among them is the hero Shizu Izawa, who originated from the same world as him. Shizu, who is also the host of the flame spirit Ifrit, loses control over it, and Ifrit proceeds to take over her consciousness, and begins trying to kill Rimuru and the others. Rimuru manages to absorb Ifrit, separating him from Shizu's soul. This would unfortunately cause Shizu's health to rapidly deteriorate since Ifrit was extending her life span. Shizu, knowing she has little time left, asks Rimuru to absorb her, taking on her emotions and will, and asks him to track down the man who'd placed Ifrit within her, the demon lord Leon Cromwell. Accepting her request, he gains a human form, with it resembling Shizu.

Following this, he meets six ogres, whose entire village had been wiped out by an army of orcs. Inviting the last surviving ogres to stay at the currently developing village, Rimuru decides to give them names, those being Benimaru, Shion, Soei, Hakuro, Shuna, and Kurobe, who swear their loyalty to Rimuru and accept him as their lord after their naming. His village is soon visited by a small convoy of lizardmen, led by Gabiru, who says Rimuru's village should be working under the lizardmen for the upcoming battle with the orcs, but is sent retreating after being defeated by Gobta.

Soei, who was sent to spy on the orc armies advance by Rimuru, encounters a dryad, who insists she speak with Rimuru. Introducing herself as Treyni, a protector of the Jura Forest, she tells Rimuru that the orc army is being led by an orc lord, and asks him to defeat it, which he accepts, and decides to join forces with the lizardmen. While Rimuru and a small party are on their way to aid the lizardmen, they encounter Souka, Gabiru’s sister, who had been on her way to inform them that Gabiru had seized leadership of the lizardmen tribe and imprisoned their father. Following this, Rimuru speeds up their travel plans and warps over the lizard tribe.

While Benimaru, Shion, Soei, Gobta, Hakuro, and Ranga battle against the ogre army, Rimuru spies on them from above, looking for the orc lord. A majin arrives on the scene going by the name of Geld, and it's revealed he was the one behind the entire plan of creating the orc lord, Gelmud, and was hoping he'd devour enough people to ascend to the status of demon lord. After a short battle against Rimuru and his subordinates, Geld is subdued, and begs Gelmud to kill them. Geld responds by devouring Geld instead, taking his power in the process. Rimuru's subordinates duel the orc lord, but while they put up a good fight, they're unable to kill him due to his insane regenerative ability. Calling them off, Rimuru finally steps in to take on Gelmud in a one on one.

In the middle of the battle, Rimuru switches control of his body over the Great Sage for the first time, who was able to fight back against the orc lord with ease. Rimuru devises a plan to finally conclude the battle, and after taking back control of his body, let's Geldmud attempt to absorb him. Reverting to his slime form, Rimuru also attempts to absorb him, and a short battle occurs to see who can successfully devour the first. During this, Rimuru sees Geldmud’s memories; the struggles the ogres faced trying to collect food, and when Geld named him Gelmud. Gelmud tells Rimuru that he can't die, otherwise his people will be held accountable for his deeds. Rimuru replies back by saying that he'd devour all of the sins committed by Gelmud and the ogres, and tells him he can finally rest. Gelmud finally concedes the fight, and Rimuru emerges victorious, absorbing him.

After Geld's defeat, Treyni holds an assembly to discuss the fallout of the war, which the residents of Jura can participate in. The surviving orcs that had been working under Geld swear their allegiance to Rimuru after he promised to shelter them as long as they work to help build his village and help the lizardmen with rebuilding. It is at this point that the Jura Forest Alliance is formed, an alliance formed of all living races within Jura, and Treyni announces Rimuru as its leader. This would be the first major step in Rimuru's goal of uniting the world into a place where all races, monsters and humans alike, can coexist peacefully with each other.

While this would lead into many battles against demon lords, dragons, other fellow humans and monster hunting fanatics, angels and demons, Rimuru would continue to fight off these threats and balance political disputes with other nations, all while trying to achieve his one true goal: creating a world where humans and monsters can live peacefully with one another, side by side.

Terminology

TenSura is a preeeeeety heavy information dense verse with a complex power system. We'll explain the terms and mechanics here since they're important elements later in the blog going forward. It's strongly recommended to read this section fully before proceeding.

Cardinal World/Key World/Axis World/Central World: The universe that TenSura primarily takes place in.

Magic: Magic is in essence the embodiment of an idea through the use of Magicules, which allows for effects like producing ice by taking heat away and making fire by introducing heat. This can be applied to other effects like strength, destruction and severance. Magic itself is a concept that can be used to ignore distance, with the only requirement being that a person must get information via perception or coordinates. Magic is a means to interfere with the laws of the world, and by abiding by the same laws as the World Language/Words of the World, phenomena are being made into reality. There are different types of magic that serve different purposes, but the main types are Aspectual Magic, Spiritual Magic, Summoning Magic, Holy Magic, Illusion Magic, ect, with the natural attributes being: Water>Wind>Space>Earth>Fire, with Light and Darkness being in balance and Time being unbound by all of them.

Magicules/Magic Essence: are a special substance that is the source of magic, which allows a person to rewrite the laws of the world. They are found everywhere in spiritual and semi-spiritual worlds at differing densities, and when entering a Magicule-rich world, the person will be filled with an immense amount of Magicules while having their body deconstructed and reconstructed again, which in turn allows them to acquire skills and resistances. Magicules are the fundamental components that form Monsters and Majin. In high enough doses, Magicules can behave like radiation to poison and mutate living organisms, killing anything that doesn’t have a resistance to them and spawn monsters.

Spiritrons: are particles that make up Magicules. They move randomly to the point where to even predict their movement, their laws must first be analyzed and deciphered to properly counter them. They can pass through all matter and move while ignoring space and time. Spiritrons also emit a special wavelength that when agitated will make “Dark Light” that will forcibly rewrite genes of living creatures who come into contact with it.

Information Particles: are the smallest fundamental units of the world that exist within all matter, including spiritual and non-physical substances and skills, with them having infinitesimal mass. They completely transcend and ignore time and space, being able to ignore temporal phenomena like the Suspended World by passing information from one particle to the next instantly and at a constant rate, being able to go to any point in time to communicate information.

Skills: They are a systemised way of creating phenomena achieved by achievement or personal growth. There are five different categories of skills, being Intrinsic (which is the physical or inherited powers usually apart of a species or family), common (skills that can be learned through training), extra (skills that have usually a single effect), Unique (manifestations of one’s emotions or desires that are unique to the individual, meaning that there can be no two exact same unique skills with the same effect, and they usually have multiple extra skills under its authority) and Ultimate (which are the pinnacle of all skills, meaning a person needs an another ultimate skill or be on the ultimate level to either resist or affect the target).

Unique Skill Users Resistances

Ultimate Skill Users Resistances

Same resistances as Unique level users but to an even greater level. Ultimate Skill users have resisted the following skills due to them being subordinate to the Ultimate level, or because its stated that they can resist these:

While Ultimate Skill users don't have direct showings negating the following abilities and Unique skills like the previous examples, they reasonably should be able to given the many statements that they can resist and nullify anything that's not at the Ultimate level. We'll separate these from the direct examples:

Aura/Battlewill: Aura is the passive Magicules that leak out of an individual, and Battlewill is the use of aura into combat techniques such as Formhide, which erases the user's presence. An evolution of Battlewill is Mystic Arts, which is adding magical properties to the user's aura, making a hybrid technique of using magic and Battlewill.

Existence Points/Value: It is the amount of energy contained within an individual person/object as a rough measure of power.

Soul And Phase Bodies: There are three phase bodies that compose the “body” of a person made up of different layers with them. With the Astral Body enveloping the Soul, the Spiritual Body being the foundation for storing power and encompassing the Astral Body, and finally, the Material/Physical Body, which is the direct connection to the world. The Soul is the source of will/self and the foundation of both humans, monsters, plants, and animals that controls the rest of the phase bodies, with even the Soul being composed of three different parts, those being the Energy Crystal, Heart Core and Ego.  First is the “Ego”, which is an amorphous wavelength, then surrounding it is the Heart Core, being the information of an individual made up of a collection of information particles, and is their “thought body”, with its container (Energy Crystal) being the soul that is made up of spiritrons. The fundamental components of the Soul is the Heart Core and memories of an individual, with the Heart Core being something that constantly changes and lacks form, the very essence of a being. To even access the soul, a person has to destroy the astral body and spiritual body first or they can not interact with it.

Physiology:

Semi-Spiritual Lifeforms are material lifeforms who are not bound by their material bodies, with them being able to think with their spiritual body, astral body, or their soul. They can regenerate their material body from wounds that would have killed a material lifeform like getting stabbed in the brain or other organs, and being able to nullify all mental effects of spiritual domination type abilities.

Spiritual Lifeforms: Beings of energy and willpower, with pure will being their essence. As beings of pure willpower, the power of their will overcomes everything else, allowing them to reach the level of an Ultimate Skill, and overcome death with willpower alone while also being immune to abnormal effects. They are also “immortal” to the point where the only ways to kill a spiritual lifeform is to destroy their Heart Core or from them losing all of their Magicules. Spiritual Lifeforms lack a lifespan entirely, and can regenerate from the destruction of their entire physical body or resurrect somewhere in the world, with them being immune to almost all physical damage, and only special attacks from legendary grade weaponry or higher can do damage. They can also resist Death Streak, which interferes with information particles and affects the genetic structure of those caught within it by rewriting their genes, and in some cases turning people into monsters, and can destroy the soul. They are inherently immaterial in nature, meaning that they need a physical vessel to interact with the physical world as well, as they will passively lose energy until they die. Spiritual Lifeforms are embodiments of the attributes/ laws of the world, like for example: Ifrit, a flame spirit embodies the fire attribute. As beings whose existence is influenced by their own ‘heart’, if they perceive that they have lost and stopped challenging their opponent, then they will be defeated unless their ‘heart’ isn’t broken.

Note: Spiritual Lifeforms and the “soul” are different things in series despite the similarity in naming. It's understandably confusing, so it's highly recommended to recheck both this and the Soul And Phase Bodies sections to understand the difference. To go into detail here and explain why some of the resistances in the Unique and Ultimate Skill users resistances sections had certain labels, spiritual bodies are more akin to how “souls” in fiction are usually portrayed, whereas the actual “soul” in TenSura is on a layer beyond that as mentioned in the Soul and Phase Bodies section, and you can't even interact with it without first bypassing or destroying the spiritual body and astral bodies. The “soul” is conceptual in its nature, as its the foundation and “will” of monsters and humans alike, and composed of three aspects, with the Ego being an amorphous wavelength and the Heart Core being something that lacks form, is constantly changing, and is the very essence and information of all beings. Basically, interacting with the “soul” would require conceptual manipulation. This will be very important to keep in mind later for more abilities and resistances.

Digital Nature: A type of spiritual lifeform whose flesh and soul have become entirely made out of information. They are composed entirely out of information; they have as an intrinsic skill the ability to manipulate information and information particles, and even partially rewrite skills. Due to the intrinsic nature of Information Particles, they can move and react inside the suspended world where they are free of the concept of time. A Manas is a race of information lifeforms who have undergone a unique evolution, which are born from a collection of information particles and have transformed their entire heart core into pure information and become an authority, and as beings who lack a soul of their own, they are in a symbiotic relationship with their hosts by inhabiting their souls. They can intrinsically rewrite the laws that govern phenomena and increase the efficiency of skills and magic, making the user manipulate magic and skills at will. To fight against an information lifeform, one needs to interfere with the information on information particles by either rewriting their information in the suspended world where time has stopped or erasing them with Nihility (Negative Existence Value/Negative Energy).

True Dragons: Manifestations of God and the highest ranking elemental spirits in existence, entities purely made out of a massive mass of energy, and the most powerful beings on the planet, ranked as Catastrophe level threats since they have the potential to end the world. Even without an Ultimate Skill, they still reach that level due to them possessing the highest willpower out of any spiritual lifeform, and when backed with an Ultimate Skill, their power is greatly increased. Their aura can erase those caught within its vicinity when unleashed at a high density, and attempting to absorb their power will destroy the person’s body trying to do so. Their Haki, known as Dragon Spirit Haki, can also erase targets, including the likes of Demon Slime Rimuru. They are the Holy Will of Nature and source of the world, being invulnerable to most physical and magical attacks, with spells, curses, magical artifacts, and sonic weapons failing to affect them, and can nullify magical attacks with a single touch. Yuuki Kagurazaka’s Anti Skill, which can negate the resistances and abilities of Ultimate Skill users such as Demon Slime Rimuru, also isn't regarded as a threat to True Dragons. Even the Anti Shock area, a barrier that lowers the physical attacks of those trapped within it by 99%, is ineffective on them, and can endure the nothingness of Hell's upper levels, something only higher level spiritual lifeforms can survive, since they're the highest ranking spiritual lifeforms. Only Ultimate Skill users or attacks that reach the Ultimate level can harm a True Dragon. Should a True Dragon die, while they would revive somewhere else, they'd have a new personality and holes in their memories, effectively becoming a different person. Unlike other spiritual lifeforms, even if their heart core is destroyed, this can also be revived from. This includes reviving from nothingness.

Equipment

Anti-Magic Mask

A mask that was owned by the masked hero Chronoa, who passed it on to Shizu to help the latter suppress the flame spirit, Ifrit, who had been bonded to her. Many decades later, while on her death bed, Shizu would pass this mask on to Rimuru… who would also pass this mask along to his student, Chloe Aubert. Yeah it's passed around a lot. But wait! There's more! Turns out that Chronoa is in fact Chloe herself, who originally inherited the mask from Rimuru in an alternate timeline, and has literally been traveling through time an infinite amount of times, always repeating the process of the mask passing along these three individuals. As for who originally had the mask first between Rimuru and Chloe/Chronoa? Yeahhhh this is never answered. It's a paradox that, even after the series ended, is never addressed, and likely won't be knowing Fuse.

As for what the mask can do, it has four effects: Resist Magic, Antidote, Breathing Support, and Amplify Senses. Breathing Support keeps the user’s lungs full even if the oxygen around them is consumed, Antidote nullifies poisons, Amplify Senses heightens the user's senses, and Magic Resist nullifies magical attacks, while also hiding the user’s magical force.

Even though he gave the mask to Chloe, Rimuru can recreate the mask, albeit seeing as most of the traits are useless for himself, he uses a modified version that amplifies the Resist Magic trait, with the other three removed. Although, it should be noted he generally doesn't wear this as a part of his general gear after giving the real mask away, since his own resistances far surpass what the mask can offer.

Demon Lord Ring

Rings created by the True Dragon Velzard and given to each member of the Demon Lord Council. These rings allow each member to call each other even across dimensions. Even if a wearer of this is trapped in the Infinity Prison, communication can still be established with others in possession of a Demon Lord Ring.

Elpis

Also known as Hope. A jet black straight sword forged by the blacksmith of Tempest, Kurobei. Although it started at the Unique level, after growing accustomed to Rimuru's energy, it would eventually evolve to the Legend grade level. At this level, it won't respond to anyone but Rimuru's magic force. It also repels all types of wavelengths, and fully absorbs light without repelling it, with this making it resistant to information analysis abilities. Only after running his magic through the sword will it transform to battle mode. It retains its elemental attribute for eternity, making it nearly unbreakable, and on the chance it does break, infusing it with magic with repair it instantly. After Rimuru evolved into a True Dragon, his sword would evolve alongside him, becoming Mythical/God grade, and easily smash through the True Dragon Velgrynd's own Mythical grade sword, with Rimuru's sword being better “quality” wise since Kurobei poured his heart and soul into making it, and Rimuru nurturing it, while Velgrynd's is mass produced by her own magicules. And finally, at the end of the series, it would evolve into the Genesis grade level, a class that only the most powerful weapons in the series have reached, and is the only man made Genesis weapon. The hilt of the sword has four holes in it, of which the “cores” of True Dragons can be inserted into, empowering Rimuru and Elpis further, and displaying Elpis’ true power.

Pseudo Soul

Items created by Rimuru that serve as a vessel to house the soul.

In the midst of having his soul get absorbed by Veldanava, Rimuru’s ego was detached from his soul, and he was left existing purely as an ego inside of Veldora. However, even without his soul, Rimuru can still project his ego into a pseudo soul, which can then be placed into his soulless body, reviving himself. It should be noted that despite being able to exist purely as an ego and project himself into a pseudo soul, outside help is required to put the pseudo soul into his body to actually “revive” himself.

Evolutions

Rimuru has gotten some pretty major evolutions as the story progresses, getting a plethora of new abilities each time and losing some in the process (just to get something better), and of course getting significantly more powerful each time. We'll take a look at what each one is bringing to the table.

Slime

Rimuru's first evolution upon reincarnating, a genderless blue slime. After devouring Shizu, he gains a human form that's modeled after her appearance. He'll continue in this evolution from volumes one to the end of volume five.

Abilities

Slime Physiology

As a slime, Rimuru doesn't need to eat, doesn't get tired, and doesn't need to sleep, though the latter is only if he's in an area that has magicules in the air. After falling into a deep pool of water, he also discovers he doesn't need to breathe either. He can freely replace and heal his cells, with no magical energy required to do so. And of course, he's also very malleable, being able to warp his body into various shapes and sizes, such as easily slipping through a keyhole. When attempting to absorb someone in slime form, he can extend his size when doing so to devour much larger targets.

.

Great Sage

̶J̶a̶r̶v̶i̶s̶,̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶p̶o̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶M̶a̶r̶v̶e̶l̶?̶

An incredibly smart, supercomputer-like Unique Skill that resides in Rimuru's soul, and is Rimuru's first partner after becoming a slime. The Great Sage manages all of Rimuru's abilities, and helps him over the course of the story by gaining information on threats and telling him the best course of actions. It also gives him information on the world, items, and how his powers work. At this time, Great Sage lacks a sentience, though that would change later. It can perform a simulation in Rimuru's mind of how potential battles would result, with this being viable in helping Rimuru form strategies for future threats. Great Sage consists of multiple abilities, such as:

Analysis and Assess: Great Sage analyzes and assess targets and items to gain information on them, including copying a target's abilities, though how long it takes to copy an ability varies depending on the complexity behind said ability. It can also tell Rimuru if his presence would be detected if he attempts to analyze someone.

Analysis: Great Sage analyzes and research anything Rimuru had absorbed, be it people or materials. He can copy the skills and magic of anyone analyzed, and create copies of items he has if he has the needed materials absorbed into himself.

Thought Acceleration: Lets Rimuru boost his perception speed by a thousand times.

Parallel Operation: Creates a second thought process. Can also perform analysis that's separate from Rimuru’s own thought process.

Cast Cancel: Lets Rimuru cast magic instantly without the need to chant.

All of Creation: Can instantly understand all phenomena about something as long as he recognizes and understands what it is he wants to learn about. Rimuru was able to comprehend all the contents within spell tomes simply by touching them.

Auto Battle Mode: Rimuru hands the control of his body over to his AI friend, letting Great Sage fight in his place. Great Sage is able to use all of Rimuru’s skills and abilities with perfect mastery, with Rimuru saying it was even managing skills he himself had trouble using, and choosing the most effective move while fighting the Orc Lord.

Degenerate

Also known as Deviant, the Unique Skill that was originally owned by Shizu. After absorbing her, Rimuru would gain this, too.

Synthesize: Transforms two different targets into a single object. This is also able to affect spiritual lifeforms such as Ifrit. Rimuru can also use it to link his skills together, creating a number of various effects.

Separate: Releases properties inherent to a target and makes them into separate objects. It can also take away abilities from targets, provided their power isn't etched to their soul. It can even remove effects from targets, shown when Rimuru removed paralysis from Kurobe. Shizu used it to alter Jizaridhara’s attributes, removing his advantage as an angel against the spirit Ifrit.

Gluttony

Rimuru’s third Unique Skill. After defeating and absorbing the Orc Lord, Rimuru’s former Unique Skill, Predator, would fuse with the Orc Lord's Unique Skill, Ravenous, and become Gluttony. Abilities under Gluttony include:

Predation: Basically how Rimuru absorbs people and other things. If the target has a conscience, the chance of this working is lowered however. Can also be used to absorb skills and magic. When Rimuru absorbs something, it's converted into energy to further empower him, and if it's a sentient individual, their consciousness vanishes after being converted. Some of Rimuru’s absorption feats below:

Stomach: A dimension inside of Rimuru where things he's absorbed can be deposited instead of fully absorbed. Anything that's stored here is unaffected by time.

Isolation: Harmful effects that can't be analyzed are stored in the Stomach, where they're then neutralized and broken down into magical force.

Rot: Performs Rot on targets with a touch, causing them to decompose if they're organic. Those who've been decomposed can also be absorbed, giving Rimuru their skills.

Receive: Gains the ability to use skills from monsters under his influence (basically those Rimuru gave names to and/or connected to his soul).

Provide: Rimuru can give his own abilities to those under his influence, while still keeping said power for himself. However, if his subordinates are unable to make full use of the skill, they won't be able to receive said skill.

Mimicry: After a creature has been successfully absorbed and analyzed, Rimuru can transform, taking the form of said creature.

Magic Sense

Gives the user an extra sense via magical particles. Magic Sense detects the particles of magic scattered across the world, including light waves and sound waves. Once invoked, the user's brain is filled with enough information that'd kill an ordinary human. Magic Sense lets the user see a full 360 degree around themselves, with Rimuru being able to extend this range to several hundred meters. It can even detect objects that are near invisible to the naked eye. The user can see and hear things even if they're blind and deaf. Even pitch black darkness appears as bright as day while this is in use. Magic Sense will automatically translate foreign languages for the user by deciphering the sound waves.

Thought Communication

The user can telepathically communicate with multiple people, including sending them mental imagery.

Keen Smell

Gives the user a wolf’s sense of smell.

Sense Soundwave

The evolved state of the Ultrasonic Wave skill. Ultrasonic Wave manipulates sound to confuse targets, or even knock them out. Sound waves can also be used to find out the positions of the user and other objects. It can even be used to vocally speak to others. After evolving to Sense Soundwave, Rimuru can detect sound with even greater accuracy.

Sense Heat Source

Detects any sources of heat in the local area, with heat concealing effects not being able to bypass this. When used in sync with Magic Sense, it's almost impossible to be sneaked up on.

However, the Art, Haze, has concealing capabilities to such a degree that it can get around Magic Sense, Keen Smell, Sense Soundwave and Sense Heat Source all together.

Ultraspeed Regeneration

A regenerative skill that's superior to the Slime inherent healing Rimuru initially had, Self Regeneration. After his arm was cut off, he was able to absorb the amputated limb and regrow his arm instantly after receiving Ultraspeed Regeneration from Great Sage. He can even regenerate his body from the effects of the Rot skill.

Demon Summoning

With a single glance, Great Sage analyzed and copied Thegis’ Summon Demon spell, giving it to Rimuru after he'd wished he'd be able to replicate it. Later, Rimuru uses this to summon a Greater Demon, who he names Beretta. Then, he summons three demons at once, with one of them being, unbeknownst to him at this time, the Primordial Black, who he'd later name Diablo.

Haze

An art that lets the user dilute their presence, with an early series Rimuru unable to detect Hakurou's presence even with his heightened senses sharpened to detect “movement, temperature, smell, sound, and everything else related to magicules”. This is because Haze works by suppressing the user's sound, smell, temperature, and finally their spirit. After full mastery, the user no longer disturbs magicules either. Visually, the user appears invisible to the naked eye, with both Hakurou and Gazel disappearing from Rimuru's vision when they used this on him. Rimuru is shown using Haze effectively in volume 5.

Battlewill

Transforms the magicules within the body to fighting spirit, improving physical capabilities. This is considered separate from using magic. Exceptionally skilled users of Battlewill can also negate healing abilities and bypass durability by injecting their energy within a target, emitting a wavelength that disturbs the magicules within them, destroying the target from the inside.

Modelwill

An Art that can be used to strengthen the user’s body or weapon. It also lets the user use their own aura to fire projectiles. Like Battlewill, this is considered separate from using magic.

Coercion

The user coerces targets with their voice by putting pressure on them. It can either be used to intimidate people, forcing them to comply to demands, or used at such intensity to knock out a group of people.

Multilayer Barrier

The evolved form of Ranged Barrier. Ranged Barrier is a skill that creates a barrier that can be extended to three hundred feet in diameter. Rimuru can also make it small enough to cover nothing but his own body, acting as a defensive shield. This barrier also prevents heat energy and magic from leaking out. After evolving to Multilayer Barrier, an invisible, thin coating covers Rimuru's body, the result being multiple barriers covering his body, each so thin that even Magic Sense would have trouble detecting it. He can even apply one of his resistances to each barrier to double their effects. Multilayer Barrier can be deployed around his sword to protect it from harmful effects. It can protect Rimuru from external magical effects such as the Anti Magic Area

Anti Magic Area

A power nulling barrier that Rimuru copied from Mjurran, with this one being thirty miles in diameter. The Anti Magic Area prevents the casting of magic, with even teleportation being cut off.

Dark Flame

A combination of the skills Flame Transformation and Mimicry. Flame Transformation turns Rimuru into a fiery entity with temperatures pushing upward of 1,200 degrees Celsius. After Flame Transformation was sacrificed for Dark Flame, Rimuru can perform the same capabilities, but with more ease. He can also shoot fireballs at temperatures pushing 1,500 degrees.

Flare Circle

A combination of Flame Transformation and Ranged Barrier. Flame Transformation (later Dark Flame) is done inside a Ranged Barrier, creating a Flare Circle. The restricted space pushes the previous 1,200 degrees of Flame Transformation to several thousand degrees, and anything organic is scorched instantly. The temperature should be far higher after Rimuru got Dark Flame.

Hell Flare

A technique created by Benimaru. A ball of flame is created that, after thrown, will quickly expand to three hundred feet in diameter. Anyone caught inside is vaporized, with no ash left behind. It's also hot enough to turn soil into glass. Rimuru would learn this from Benimaru, but display even greater proficiency with it thanks to the Great Sage. After launching it, Rimuru can keep the dome of fire as small and compact as possible, pushing the heat inside the dome to several hundred million degrees. Even Cancel Temperature would be useless against it, despite letting Rimuru previously survive temperatures of several thousand degrees.

Body Armor

Deploys a Shelled Lizard’s scale around Rimuru's body that acts as a shield. Can also be deployed to cover specific parts of the body. The scale is hard enough that Soei’s sword shattered on impact upon hitting it

Sticky Steel Thread

A combo of the skills Sticky Thread and Steel Thread, gained from absorbing a Big Spider. Sticky Thread encases the target in webs, leaving them unable to move. Steel Thread, on the other hand, is sharp and strong enough to slice cleanly through a tree, and is near invisible to the naked eye. Soei, another user of Sticky Steel Thread, was able to cut an orc general into millions of pieces.

Poisonous Breath

Releases a blast of air with a corrosive effect, affecting an area of seven meters in front of the user with a radius of 120 degrees, breaking down all organic and inorganic matter that comes into contact with it. Even armor such as the Body Armor of the Shelled Lizard can't withstand this.

Paralyzing Breath

Fires a blast of air that, as the name suggests, applies a paralysis effect on the target, preventing them from moving.

Steel Strength

A skill that boosts the user's physical strength. Rimuru was shown using it in his first confrontation with Hinata.

Strengthen Body

Boosts the strength of the user's muscles. Rimuru was shown using this against Hinata.

Replication

Rimuru creates a single copy of himself, with this copy being almost as “real” as the real Rimuru, and having the same offensive and defensive capabilities. The copy can also use nearly all of Rimuru's abilities, though it has to be nearby in order to use his Unique Skills. The Replication has to be within range of half a mile for Rimuru to seamlessly control it, though he can still give it commands with Thought Communication if the distance between them is further than that. Rimuru can possess the clone by projecting his consciousness into it, though this leaves his real body undefended.

Universal Shapeshift

Rimuru can transform specific parts of his body into the monsters he's consumed. Universal Shapeshift also allows him to use abilities specific from other monsters without the need to mimic their appearance, now able to use those abilities while in human form.

Magic Aura

Lets Rimuru add magical effects to his aura, with the aura being able to bypass the magical resistance that's inherent to demons, and the magic allowing him to interact with spiritual lifeforms. The effects applied go to the conceptual level, with the concepts being strength, destruction, and severance.

Spatial Motion

The evolved form of Shadow Motion. Shadow Motion lets the user travel from point A to point B by traveling through the shadows of others. Pretty handy for surprise attacks, too. Spatial Motion connects two fields of physical space together, letting the user travel to anywhere they'd already been, though this can take several minutes to perform.

Magic Interference

An ability gained from absorbing Charybdis. Magic Interference causes magicules within a thousand mile radius to go haywire, greatly reducing the effects of magic. Flight based magic is rendered null entirely. However, Magic Interference only messes with magicules that are midair, so something like Shadow Motion, being more related to the ground, can still work.

Flight

Can mimic a pair of bat wings on his back, enabling him to fly.

Control Gravity

Another ability gained after Charybdis was absorbed. Enables Rimuru to fly through the air by manipulating gravity.

Control Particles

A combination of the skills Control Water and Control Flame, but much more versatile than both are individually.  Control Particles manipulates the path of magicules in the air, creating heat from the resulting friction. By using more force, the temperature can be increased. It can also be used to rub molecules together to create electricity.

It was also stated it can replicate the capabilities of Control Water. Control is the fusion of the skills Water Blade, Current Movement, and Water Pressure Propulsion. Water Blade fires a blade of water that's powerful enough to slice the head of a serpent off. Via Water Pressure Propulsion, Rimuru fires a blast of water from his body to propel himself through air at high speeds. Current Movement allows the user to manipulate the particles around themselves to create water currents, easily controlling which way a body of water takes them.

It should be able to recreate the effects of the Control Wind skill since it's stated to be superior to it. With Control Wind, Ranga could raise and lower the local atmospheric pressure to generate strong gusts of wind. When used in combo with Dark Lightning, an array of tornadoes is created.

Control Magic

Also known as Magic Manipulation, a result of pairing Magic Interference with Control Particles. It lets Rimuru manipulate magicules to create phenomena. The user can also interfere with magicules to nullify magical attacks.

Dark Thunder

Megiddo

A Physics magic created by Rimuru and the Great Sage. Over a thousand droplets of water are created by water elementals summoned by Rimuru, of which a dozen form convex shaped lenses further above in the sky. The lenses gather and hone the sunlight until it becomes a beam of light, which is then refracted off of the smaller droplets below, firing light speed blasts of light reaching several thousand degrees and instantly annihilating over a thousand targets

Merciless

A Unique Skill that absorbs the soulsof those who've lost will to fight, begs for their lives, or asks Rimuru for help. Rimuru was able to absorb the souls of nearly ten thousand soldiers instantly with this.

Resistances

Should have resistances inherent to those in possession of a Unique Skill (see Unique Skill resistances section), and has resistances to the following:

Data Manipulation and Information Manipulation: Can withstand the amount of information and data gained from Magic Sense,  which can overload the brain of a normal human, frying it.

Enhanced Resistance to Radiation and Poison: Monsters already have natural resistance to poisons, and was given resistance to poisons by the Great Sage on top of this. Can withstand being in the presence of a sealed Veldora, when even then, the amount of magicules he gives off would kill a normal human and lower level monsters. The magicule density in Tempest is also considered poisonous to normal humans. Recheck the Magicules/Magic Essence section for more info on magicules density.

Enhanced Resistance to Corrosion: Can further resist the effects of Rot to a greater extent with the Cancel Rot skill, which is superior to the skill Resist Rot due to “Cancel” being on a higher level than “Resist” in the skill hierarchy.

Mind Manipulation: Great Sage prevented Gazel from interacting too deeply with Rimuru's psyche, only allowing him access to Rimuru's surface thoughts. Resisted Ramiris' Dominate Mind/Mental Control skill.

Statistics Reduction, Holy Manipulation and Power Nullification: Was able to partially resist the effects of Holy Field barrier, which purifies magicules and greatly weakens monsters. Monsters below an A rank are unable to take any action, and all skills are sealed off, though only Rimuru’s magic based skills were sealed after gaining a resistance to the Holy Field, and he could still use his Unique Skills and arts such as Battlewill.

Enhanced Resistance to Pain Manipulation: Cancel Pain interrupts the creation of pain. Felt no pain even after his arm was cut off by Hakurou. It should be noted this only applies to Rimuru’s physical body, seeing as he still felt pain when Hinata the Saint damaged his spiritual body.

Enhance Resistance to High and Cold Temperatures: The Cancel Temperature skill is the upgraded version of Resist Temperature, which was able to let Rimuru withstand temperatures of several thousand degrees, and offers protection against the cold.

Electricity: Can resist electric attacks.

Physical Damage: Resist Melee reduces the amount of damage Rimuru takes from physical attacks. This also includes piercing weapons, since the skill Resist Piercing Weapon evolved to Resist Melee.

Paralysis and Enhanced resistance to Emphatic Manipulation: Resisted Gazel's Heroic Aura. Heroic Aura is a higher level of Coercion that causes the target to cower and unable to move, and those with especially low resistances will find themselves submitting to and adoring the wielder.

Enhanced Resistance to Magic: The skill Resist Magic further boosts Rimuru's resistance to magical attacks on top of already having a resistance due to Unique Skill user resistances. He also inherently has natural resistances to magic due to being a higher level magic born.

Possession: Shizu’s Unique Skil, Deviant, prevented the flame spirit Ifrit from fully taking over her body after they were assimilated together. Rimuru should be able to resist this after gaining Deviant.

Enhanced Resistance to Power Absorption: As a Special A rank adventurer, should be able to further resist attempts to absorb his power by wrapping his aura around his body, since adventurers at the level of A rank can do so.

Demon Slime

Rimuru’s second major evolution. To revive the Tempestians who'd died after being invaded by the kingdom of Falmuth, Rimuru absorbs the souls of ten thousand people and undergoes the Harvest Festival, an event that occurs when someone has met all the conditions to become a True Demon Lord. While Rimuru was in the process of evolving, he let Great Sage manage the ritual to revive everyone, who then evolved itself to a higher level, becoming the Ultimate Skill Rapahel. Following this, Raphael was able to carry out the ritual flawlessly, when it had struggled to do so as Great Sage. Likewise, Rimuru had evolved from a Slime to a Demon Slime after going through the Harvest Festival process, increasing all of his physical capabilities, and getting a bunch of new abilities. He remains in this evolution from the end of volume 5 until partly into volume 15. It's recommended to now recheck the Spiritual Lifeform physiology section, since Rimuru is now a full Spiritual Lifeform and would have the abilities inherent to one.

Abilities

Raphael, Lord of Wisdom

Rimuru's first Ultimate Skill and the evolved form of the Great Sage. After sacrificing the Unique Skill Deviant during the Harvest Festival, the Sage successfully managed to reach the ultimate level, becoming Raphael and gaining a sense of self, something unheard of for a skill to possess. Raphael’s calculative capabilities go beyond what it could do as the Great Sage, seeing it was able to effortlessly perform the Secret Art of Revival, when the chances of it doing so as Great Sage were calced at 3.14%, and was stated to have a sharper mind after evolving. Despite Deviant being sacrificed, it was integrated into Raphael, allowing it to perform the same abilities. The skills under Raphael include Thought Acceleration, Analysis and Assess, Parallel Operation, Cast Cancel, All of Creation, Combine/Disassemble, and Ability Adjust, with all previous abilities becoming more powerful after ascending to the ultimate level. Since its already been previously explained what some of these abilities can do in Rimuru’s previous evolution, we’ll instead list out any notable feats these abilities get after evolving.

Thought Acceleration: Same capabilities as before, though Rimuru can now extend his thinking speed by a million times faster instead of just a thousand. Rimuru can also apply his Thought Acceleration to targets, such as speeding up demon lord Clayman's perception speed by a million times when Rimuru was repeatedly punching him, with this lasting several dozen days from Clayman's perspective, while in real time it only lasted several seconds.

Analysis and Assess: Some of Rapahel's analysis feats include:

Ability Adjust: Lets Rimuru reconfigure and modify his skills, including evolving them. He can also do this for those connected to him through Food Chain, shown when Raphael evolved Bovix’s Self Regeneration to Ultraspeed Regeneration, and gave both Bovix and Equix a new skill, Limiter.

Other: Another simulation feat. With Rapahel’s assistance, Rimuru performs a simulation within his mind that's “almost as vivid a reality” of how his army and the Beast Kingdom will go about fighting against the demon lord Clayman's army, and sends this simulation to others with Thought Communication.

Beelzebuth, Lord of Gluttony

The next evolution of Gluttony, having consumed the Merciless skill to evolve to an Ultimate Skill and become Beelzebuth. The skills under Beelzebuth are Predation, Stomach, Mimicry, Isolate, Rot, Soul Consume, and Food Chain, with all having been empowered to the ultimate level.

Stomach: After becoming a True Demon Lord, the storage space of Rimuru's Stomach increased, able to perfectly hide his magical force by placing all of it within his stomach.

Soul Consume: While Merciless was sacrificed to evolve Gluttony to Beelzebuth, Soul Consume can still replicate its ability, though with the same restrictions still. Unlike with Gluttony, Soul Consume now allows Rimuru to directly absorb spiritual particles and the astral body with Beelzebuth, such as when he absorbed Clayman, “body, soul, and all”, preventing him from resurrecting. Other notable absorption feats include:

Food Chain: Both the skills Provide and Receive are merged into Food Chain. Food Chain sets up a hierarchy, with Rimuru at the top. His subordinates can send Rimuru their power to further empower him, with Rimuru being able to send his power back as well. And of course, he can still tap into the abilities of his subordinates. The stronger Rimuru’s subordinates get, their power automatically goes back to him, boosting him even further.

Uriel, Lord of Vows

The evolved form of the Unique Skill Infinity Prison, now brought to the ultimate level. Uriel offers four skills; Infinity Prison, Universal Barrier, Control Laws, and Spatial Domination.

Infinity Prison: The same skill invoked by the hero Chronoa to seal away Veldora for three hundred years. This dimension isolates the target within a dimensional prison that makes it impossible to be retrieved from by external forces, can't be destroyed by physical attacks, seals off the powers of those trapped within, and spiritual lifeforms themselves have a 1% chance of escaping. This prison itself explicitly traps the target within an infinite imaginary number space. It can can also be used defensively to isolate Rimuru from outside forces.

Universal Barrier: Provides absolute defense with a Multilayer Barrier and the severing of space between both sides, meaning physical attacks never reach the user. This also comes with Absolute Defense, which creates a single, thin transparent layer that covers Rimuru's body. This defense is an application of Infinity Prison, making physical attacks entirely unable to destroy it. Absolute Defense can defend against attacks that utilize spiritual particles, which ignore time and space and can pierce through nearly any barrier, although their unpredictability means they can potentially still get through the barrier. It was able to completely protect Rimuru from Trinity Disintegration, a threefold version of Disintegration. For reference, a single Disintegration is considered among the greatest of holy magic spells, firing a blast of light that “crushes all physical and spiritual presences”, making cells and souls vanish without a trace. In his first fight against Hinata, a direct hit from Disintegration would've gone straight through Rimuru’s Multilayer Barrier, making him vanish instantly. It can even destroy the “soul”. Absolute Defense can be cast on multiple targets to shield them as well, though this does weaken its defense.

Control Laws: Lets Rimuru manipulate laws and magicules to bring about all types of phenomena such as black fire and thunder. It can even be used to control heat quantities and inertia, and store and remove heat from his Stomach space. Control Laws also comes with and is superior to Clayman's Control Terrain skill, which lets Clayman collect information through ley lines. Shuna, one of Rimuru’s subordinates and another user of Control Laws, was able to use it to summon a wall of fire to act as a barrier, cast holy magic, and wrestle away Adalmann’s control over spiritual elements, overwriting his magic. In the Scarlet Bond movie, Rimuru is able to split a large lake in half with this as well. Its versatility is because it can be used to not only manipulate the laws of the world, but applies to all attributes, making it an incredibly flexible skill.

Spatial Domination: Said to be as close to instant teleportation as one can get, letting the user teleport somewhere within their line of sight, though if something like Universal Detect is in use that gives the user a greater perception range, they can teleport further. The user can also use it to interfere with a wide area of space around themselves, preventing the usage of teleportation abilities, although another user of Spatial Domination can potentially force themselves through this effect.

Veldora, Lord of Storms

Having evolved to a Demon Lord, Rimuru is able to successfully fully analyze and consume Veldora’s essence, gaining the Ultimate Skill Veldora, linking their souls together and giving Rimuru part of Veldora’s powers. The skills this comes equipped with are Summon Storm Dragon, Restore Storm Dragon, Death Calling Wind, Dark Lightning, and Storm of Destruction. Attacks imbued with Veldora’s Storm Magic causes the wounds of those injured by it to decay, corroding their entire body and negating regeneration.

Summon Storm Dragon: A skill that lets Rimuru summon Veldora himself to assist in combat. See the Summons section for Veldora’s full capabilities, as there are some abilities he has that Rimuru can't use himself at this point in time.

Restore Storm Dragon: A skill that lets Rimuru store Veldora’s experiences and memories in his mind. Should Veldora die for any reason, Rimuru can spawn a new one since the “real” Veldora technically resides within Rimuru's soul after being consumed by him. This effectively allows Veldora to cheat around the one weakness True Dragons have, that being their memory and personality resetting if they were to die. If Veldora were to be imprisoned within Unlimited Imprisonment again, Rimuru can resummon Veldora again to spring him out.

Death Calling Wind: Fires blasts of wind that damages anything that comes into contact with it and destroys the soul.

Storm of Destruction: Sadly this is just never explained at all lol.

Secret Arts of Revival and Resurrection

Two arts that are performed in combination to revive the dead. The Art of Revival requires arcane wisdom that humankind can't begin to understand, and the user needs both a massive amount of magical energy and very precise control to even begin attempting it, as one mistake will cause targets to become uncontrollable beasts, or lose some of their memories and knowledge in the process of repairing the souls and body of the deceased.

After the rebuilt souls are fully healed, this is then followed up with the Secret Art of Resurrection, returning the deceased’s soul to their body, restoring their life.

However, while this is as close to bringing back the dead as one can get, this doesn't work if the deceased person’s soul is already destroyed, since the Arts of Revival and Resurrection can only be used to heal souls that are still in the world. Their body is also needed to perform this.

Secret Art of Implantation

(Also translated as Secret Art of Anti Soul Return) A more cost effective version of the Secret Art of Revival, but on a more massive scale, capable of being performed on hundreds of thousands of people, and requiring a very high computational ability to do, as the body of the individuals and their “heart core” have to be identified. Unlike the Art of Revival, instead of repairing the soul, the heart core of the deceased is placed into a pseudo soul (emulated soul), which is then placed into the deceased’s body, returning them to life.

Like the Arts of Revival and Resurrection, this also comes with some weaknesses, still requiring the body of the deceased to work. It also requires the “ego” of the individual, which if for any reason is destroyed, can't be repaired.

Soul Corridor

Establishes a connection to the monsters under Rimuru’s command and links their souls together, allowing them to telepathically communicate with each other even if separated by dimensions.

Spatial Motion

What used to take minutes to do when he was a Slime can now be done instantly, connecting two different points of space with a passing thought. Rimuru can even teleport across dimensions by tracing the connection he has to his subordinates through their shared Soul Corridor.

Future Attack Prediction

When Hinata began to predict Rimuru's attacks and used feints to lure him into areas she planned to attack, Rapahel, by watching her during the battle, was able to predict Hinata's own attacks through pre calculations. After giving Rimuru Future Attacks Prediction, he can “see” these calculations, and tell which attacks from Hinata are feints and which are real. Hinata then comments that it's as if Rimuru is predicting the future, and that his predictions are more accurate than her Compute Prediction skill, which lets her predict an opponent’s attacks through calculations similarly, but less accurately than Raphael. Since this isn't literally looking into the future but just Raphael accurately predicting the opponent’s attacks, even the Anti Skill can't nullify it.

Meltslash

A Disintegration type technique where the user imbues their weapon with the soul erasing Disintegration and launches themselves forward in a beam of light, capable of cutting through spiritual particles and the spirit.

After watching Hinata use Meltslash and absorbing her sword, Raphael was able to analyze the ability, allowing Rimuru to use it, too.

Disintegration

The user traces a series of complex shapes with their outstretched hands, crafting a geometrical design in the air, and then stretching it into layered, magic circle that appear above and below the target, with chains connecting to each circle to prevent escape. A blast of light, Disintegration, is then called down that “crushes all physical and spiritual presences”, making cells and souls vanish without a trace. In his first fight against Hinata, a direct hit from Disintegration would've gone straight through Rimuru’s Multilayer Barrier, making him vanish instantly. A blast from Disintegration can even destroy the information particles that makes up the soul/heart core.

Since Disintegration is required to cast Meltslash, Rimuru would have this after Raphael copied Meltslash.

Storm Break

A technique based on Meltslash, combining magic and sword technique. Rimuru imbues his sword with Veldora's Storm Magic and slashes at the target, with a resulting blast of dark lightning firing out. Injuries inflicted by Storm Magic start to decay, corroding the target's entire body and life force, negating regeneration.

Enhanced Replicant

An improved version of Replicant, with this clone being durable enough to serve as a vessel for Veldora to inhabit. Should have the same capabilities as the previous Replicant.

Demon Lord Haki

Also known as Lord's Ambition. A skill that can only be used by those who've reached the level of a demon lord, and is a merger of Coercion and Magic Aura. The user unleashes their aura, and the pressure this causes can make those without the proper resistance faint from sheer terror, or even potentially die in the worst case.

Megiddo Revised

An even more powerful version of Megiddo, with this having Rimuru's Demon Lord Haki applied to it and capable of being used during the night. Water elementals are summoned in the stratosphere, of which create multiple, large lenses that reflect a large beam of sunlight off each other, which connects to Rimuru’s location through his use of Spatial Domination. While this visually looks like Rimuru is firing a beam of sunlight in the form of a dragon from his hand, the beam is actually hitting the target directly from the lens in the stratosphere, with the beam being large enough to engulf the target's entire body at a temperature reaching hundreds of thousands degrees. (Manga pics too. This scene goes hard).

Argos, the Eye of God

Argos is a surveillance magic created by Rimuru and Raphael that uses the same principle as Megiddo. Large lenses are deployed near the stratosphere, reflecting a magnified view of the target to a monitor in the control room located in Tempest. Rimuru then sends a bunch of tiny slime clones formed from his body to the location, with the slimes acting as a medium to activate the magic on site. All of the clones are connected to Rimuru via Dominate Space, allowing instant data link. Megiddo can then be activated, firing a large beam of light from the lenses to the target. This can also be used during the night, though it’s significantly weakened. However, during the day, it's operating at full power, with enough heat to easily reduce an entire to ash. During the events of volume 22, Rimuru is shown to be able to connect to Argos even while not in the control room of Tempest, projecting a screen in front of himself to view ongoing events around the world.

Megiddoray

A fusion of Megiddo and Disintegration. Rimuru focuses a large beam of sunlight into a heat ray, which he then wraps in spiritual particles. Basically a Megiddo that's capable of existence erasure and conceptual destruction.

Infinite Regeneration

A self healing skill that's even better than Ultraspeed Regeneration, with Rimuru saying he can likely regenerate from being reduced to goo. It can even heal the user from attacks such as Meltslash, something that conceptually erases both the physical and spiritual bodies. However, if the user runs out of magicules, this skill will be rendered null, and as such, can't be abused.

Transport Technique

A Legion Magic created by Raphael that lets Rimuru transport an entire army to a different location. To protect the transportees from the harmful effects of being exposed to high amounts of magicules during the teleportation, the user casts a barrier around all targets. Spatial Domination is cast in tandem with this to reduce the amount of magic this would ordinarily cost to move such a large amount of people.

Universal Perception

A more powerful version of Magic Sense that covers a much wider range, and was described as easily being able to cover a whole town and a great deal beyond. Supposedly it's also what lets Rimuru sense “wrinkles in space”, alerting him of any spatial abilities.

Universal Thread

This is lacking in feats unfortunately, but basically it's a more powerful version of Sticky Steel Thread, possessing a notable resistance to slashing attacks.

Spirit Communication

A spell that lets the user communicate with spirits in their location, and gain information from them, such as the direction within ruins.

Secret Art of Faith and Grace

The principle behind how Holy Magic functions. The user uses their name as a vessel in order to cast holy spells, and those that worship them can draw on the individual’s power to cast holy spells. Adalmann, who'd lost the ability to use holy magic after switching his faith from demon lord Valentine to Rimuru, was able to use holy magic again after forming a contract with him. The user can also draw on the processing capabilities of their followers to increase their own processing power.

Absolute Severance

Uriel’s Absolute Defense is applied to the user’s weapon and converted into offense. The nature of this is such that even when used at the Unique level, it can harm not only Ultimate Skill users, but even True Dragons. It can even penetrate Castle Guard barrier, which possesses the same defensive properties as Uriel.

As for what Castle Guard is, you're about to find out in the next major evolution section.

Demon Summoning

Creates a large, magical circle in the sky that forms a gate transcending space time. From the gate emerges an army of demons connected to Rimuru through the Soul Corridor.

Resistances

All previous resistances but boosted further. Since this evolution has Ultimate Skills and is a full spiritual lifeform, he'd have resistances inherent to Ultimate Skill users and Spiritual Lifeforms (see Ultimate Skill Users resistances and Spiritual lifeform physiology sections), and has resistances to the following:

Nonexistence Erasure: As a higher level spiritual lifeform, can survive the nothingness of the Underworld/Hell’s upper levels, which destroys the soul and converts it into energy for those unable to endure.

Enhanced Resistance to Elements: Possesses the skill Cancel Natural Elements, which should offer a higher degree of protection against the water, fire, earth, and air elements than the “Resist” type due to “Cancel” being superior to “Resist.”

Enhanced Resistance to Status Effect Inducement: Has the skill Cancel Ailments. Known status effects and ailments in TenSura include: Silence, statistics reduction, sleep, confusion, death, paralysis, poison, insanity, petrification, and corrosion.

Enhanced Resistance to Soul Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Corruption, and Resistance to Death Manipulation: Said to have resistances to spirit based attacks. Has the skill Resist Spiritual Attacks. As an Ultimate level user, should fully resist Unique level abilities that target the soul, which can affect the souls of other Unique level users to an extent despite all Unique levels users having resistance to soul manipulation. Was completely unaffected by Mariabell's Death Wish, which targets the soul by implanting desires. It also reverses the target's desire to live to a desire to die.

Enhanced Resistance to Mind Manipulation: Clayman was unable to manipulate his mind. King Gazel was also unable to read his thoughts at all, despite being able to somewhat read Rimuru’s when he was a Slime. Rudra (secretly the Manas Michael), whose presence alone can passively affect the minds of Ultimate Skill users like Yuuki despite having resistance to mental attacks, was unable to affect Rimuru.

Enhanced Resistance to Resistance Negation, Conceptual Destruction, Soul Manipulation, Existence Erasure, and Holy Manipulation: When tapping into the powers of the spirits they'd forged pacts with, the weapons carried by the Paladins can neutralize the resistances that monsters possess. When Hinata was doing the same and used her most powerful attack, Meltslash, Rimuru sacrificed Beelzebuth to counter it, but Raphael shortly after says that Rimuru could've survived it with no defenses, although he'd have likely lost a lot of magicules. As such, with Absolute Defense deployed, his resistance to Meltslash would be vastly greater.

Enhanced Resistance to Existence Erasure, Conceptual Destruction, Holy Manipulation and Soul Manipulation: With Absolute Defense deployed, was unaffected by Trinity Disintegration, a threefold version of Disintegration.

Enhanced Resistance to Paralysis and Empathic Manipulation: Unaffected by Elmesia’s Heroic Aura, which was stated to be more powerful than Gazel's own Heroic Aura.

Life Force Absorption: Unaffected by the Cursed Sword, which absorbs the life energy from those in its surroundings.

Spatial Manipulation Negation and Teleportation Negation: Users of Spatial Domination can force themselves through its usage of manipulating space to prevent teleportation.

Power Absorption: Rimuru, Hinata and Veldora are unaffected by the magicule draining barrier set up by the Trinity Wisemen.

Illusion Manipulation: Could see that Ashley was using an illusion body to speak to him, Shion and Benimaru.

Appraisal Nullification: Pipin’s jamming magic interferes with and disables appraisal abilities, and targets require a higher computational ability than Pipin to bypass this, of which Raphael does.

Extreme Heat: With Universal Barrier deployed, can survive a direct hit from Ashley's Cross Flame Storm, which burns at a temperature reaching a million degrees.

Dimensional BFR: After being sealed in Velgrynd’s Fortress of Dreams, which isolates the target in a different dimension, Rimuru is able to escape by tracing the connection he has to his subordinates via the Soul Corridor he has with them, and teleport out with Spatial Motion.

Now this is when we get into the unga bunga territory. Rimuru's third evolution, putting him on par with some of the most powerful beings in the verse, the True Dragons. While fighting both a mind controlled Veldora and his sister Velgrynd, Rimuru finally gives his AI companion Raphael a name, Ciel, who'd then go on to display incredible calculations and trickery in dealing with Velgrynd, and temporarily seal her. Finally able to concentrate on Veldora, Rimuru attempts to absorb him, but struggles to do so, as True Dragons possess innate resistance to absorption. Ciel, having analyzed Veldora's magic, says she can evolve Rimuru to a True Dragon, who readily accepts, becoming an Ultimate Slime, and is able to finally absorb and devour Veldora without trouble, and undo the mind control. He then defeats and absorbs Velgrynd as well, with it being revealed that she too was being mind controlled by Michael, which he's able to free her from.

Later, after being exposed to a time stop (also known as the Suspended World) from Michael and having no defenses against this, Ciel would develop the Emergency Response mode, enabling both Rimuru and Ciel to be able to retain their consciousness during the time stops, and observe it. Ciel then evolves Rimuru yet again, granting him the ability to transform into a Digital Lifeform, allowing him to freely move during time stops, and finally defeat and absorb Michael, ending his thousands of years reign over the Eastern Empire. This state lasts from mid way into volume 15 until the end of volume 21.

It is advised to now recheck the Digital Nature and True Dragons physiology sections before continuing, as Rimuru now has abilities and resistances inherent to both.

Abilities

Ciel

The evolved form of Raphael after having gained a name directly from Rimuru, becoming a Manas and boasting a far higher computational ability that even Raphael can't compare to.

Abilities under Ciel include Thought Acceleration, Predict Future Attack, Analyze and Assess, Parallelism/Parallel Operation, Integration, Separation, Chant Cancellation, All of Creation, Food Chain, Thought Domination, Law Domination, and Attribute Transformation. As before, since some of these have already been elaborated on in previous evolutions, we'll avoid talking about them again unless they got a substantial buff or notable feats.

Thought Acceleration: Thought Acceleration now extends Rimuru's thinking speed several hundred million times faster than normal, and Rimuru can react to light speed attacks.

Analyze and Assess: Notable analysis feats from Ciel include:

Law Domination: Also never used, though it's clearly an improved version of Control Laws, giving better control of the manipulation of laws.

Attribute Transformation: Never stated what this does; “seemingly” lets Rimuru switch out his attributes to any he desires just going off the name.

Azathoth

Rimuru’s new primary means of absorption, created from merging Beelzebuth, Raphael, Storm King Veldora, and Scorch King Velgrynd. Skills under Azathoth include Soul Consumption, Nihility Collapse, Imaginary Space, True Dragon Releases Scorch and Storm, True Dragon Core Transformation Scorch and Storm, Spacetime Domination, and Multidimensional Barrier.

Soul Consumption: A super enhanced version of Predation and Gluttony that devours a target’s soul along with them.

Imaginary Space: A chaotic world, and the evolved form of Stomach, with the skill Isolation also being under this, locking away targets that have been consumed. Notable feats include:

True Dragon Releases Scorch and Storm: After having devoured both Veldora and Velgrynd, their cores/true selves reside inside Rimuru. With True Dragon Release active, he creates separate existences for both outside his body that are free to do as they wish. Creating bodies for both uses up some of Rimuru’s own power, and it's only when canceling True Dragon Release, returning both Veldora and Velgrynd inside him, that Rimuru can exercise his full power.

True Dragon Core Transformations Scorch and Storm: Veldora and Velgrynd can transform into a nucleus core to fit within the holes located on the hilt of Rimuru’s sword, boosting its power. Foreshadowing.

Spacetime Domination: The user can instantly warp to a location simply by being aware of the space and time. Stated to even affect time itself.

Multidimensional Barrier: A constantly active Multilayer Barrier that provides absolute protection by a Dimensional Fault. The Dimensional Fault is stated to be superior to the Distortion Field, which was able to nullify Krishna’s Dimensional Slash, which can “pierce all defenses and severe all dimensions,” and was stated to be comparable to Rimuru's Absolute Defense, an Ultimate level ability. The “barrier” of Distortion Field manipulates the space and gravity around the user to where it could nullify Minits' Oppressor skill, which manipulates gravity comparable to a massive star. Oppressor can even manipulate tensile and repulsive forces to compress and explode objects.

Shub-Niggurath

An Ultimate skill made from the essence of Uriel, and is the crystallization of the bond between Rimuru and his subordinates. It was created by Ciel since Rimuru had begun to approach his limit of the amount of skills his soul and body could hold, and Shub Niggurath lets Ciel manage his skills more easily, converting them to information to reduce the burden of having too many skills, and it lets Rimuru and Ciel grant power and skills to those connected to Rimuru through the Soul Corridor. The abilities under Shub-Niggurath are Skill Creation, Skill Duplication, Skill Gifting, and Skill Storage.

Skill Creation: Lets the user create new skills from the information obtained through Food Chain and Analysis.

Skill Duplication: Creates a copy of an acquired skill.

Skill Gifting: Duplicate a skill and bestow it upon someone. The skill can also be taken back.

Skill Storage: Acquired skills are converted into information and reproduced instantly.

Michael, Lord of Justice

Welp, this is gonna be a trip.

The Ultimate Skill, Michael, was directly created by the creator Veldanava himself, and eventually bestowed to Rudra Nam UI Nasca, the first “Hero” of the Cardinal World, and ruler of the Eastern Empire. After Veldanava's death, the skill questioned the reason for its existence, and soon teamed up with Feldway, one of Veldanava's first creations and a servant to Veldanava, sparking a plan to revive Veldanava that'd last for thousands of years. The skill was also given the name “Michael” by Feldway, evolving Michael to a Manas, and forming a friendship between the two. To set their plan in motion, Michael began to try and forcefully take control of its host, Rudra, whose soul gradually wore down over the centuries due to trying to keep Michael at bay, until it finally succeeded, seizing a totalitarian control over the Eastern Empire, and placing many of its subjects under mind control. Rudra's soul as a consequence shattered after Michael took full control of his body, and scattered across the multiverse, where each piece would soon reincarnate, becoming reincarnations of Rudra.

In a showdown with Rimuru, Michael was defeated and absorbed into him, with the former gaining the abilities of the Seven Angelic System Ultimate Skills and Velzard’s Dragon Factor. The Angelic System are skills directly created by Veldanava and are considered the purest of skills. The skills are Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Sariel, Metatron, Raguel, and Gabriel, with Justice King Michael at the top of the chain and possessing full authority over the other six skills. It also grants the user absolute mental control over other users of Angelic skills, and can tap into the abilities of anyone placed under Michael's control. We already know what Raphael and Uriel do, so let's cover the other five Angel type skills.

Michael: The strongest of the Angelic skills, commanding Mental Control and comes with the ability Castle Guard. Additional abilities under Michael include Armageddon, Regalia Dominion, and Ultimate Dominion.

Sariel: A skill originally owned by the hero Granbell Rosso, and is the source of life, and the power to manage the cycle of reincarnation. While the Ultimate Skill itself wasn't used much in the story, Luminous Valentine’s Ultimate Skill, Asmodeus, has the same authority over life and death, so Sariel would be able to replicate the same abilities. Luminous was shown draining spirit energy from Veldora, while inserting Excruciation and Sickness, with this directly affecting the “soul”, and skills such as Pain Nullification can't nullify the sensations felt from these. She's also revived the dead on multiple occasions, though this does require the target’s body and soul to still be intact. By imbuing her weapon with Asmodeus, Luminous can drain the target’s life force, with her death powers and convert it into her own energy with her life powers. This also comes with the technique Rosa Espada, where the user unleashes a powerful slash that can even cut through barriers. Their weapon is sacrificed however, transforming into scattered rose petals that embody the concept of death through Asmodeus. The petals have properties akin to the “nothingness” of Nihility Collapse, absorbing the life force of those they touch and giving it to the user, while death eats away at the target.

Metatron: A skill originally owned by demon lord Leon Cromwell, it's the power to sort out all mixed laws, prevent interference, and select pure energy. It specializes in mass destruction, hence why Leon rarely uses it at full power because of the effect this would have on his surroundings. Metatron deploys spiritrons around the user's body and weapon, turning them into an “incarnation of destruction”, disintegrating anything they touch. The user is effectively a walking Disintegration.

For Raguel and Gabriel’s abilities, see the Velgrynd and Velzard sections in Summons.

Insulated Prison

A combination of the Infinite Prison that was used to trap Veldora and the Insulated Space of Uriel that traps the target inside a battle air space. The space is fully under Ciel’s control, with it being able to control the temperature, humidity, gravity, the flow of wind, the light of the sun,and the pulse of life. The prison itself is operated with superior attributes to the target and takes into account their characteristics to restrain them. This was powerful enough to seal the True Dragon Velgrynd for two hundred seconds. Pulling this off is stated to require an extremely high computational power.

Storm Blast

Veldora's ability that Ciel analyzed and successfully copied, allowing Rimuru to use. The user fires a Thunderstorm that interferes with space, with multiple invisible rays of light also being released. The rays intersect with each other, generating a destructive force that could even hurt Velgrynd despite her having resistance to such attacks normally. When paired up with Veldora's Probability Manipulation, Storm Blast could even tear through Demon Slime Rimuru's Absolute Defense and fool the Lord of Wisdom Raphael’s calculations, even though both have resistance to probability manipulation.

Abyss Annihilation

A spell that's even more powerful than Gravity Collapse. The user summons matter from the lowest depths of the underworld and adds it into Gravity Collapse, generating a powerful torrent of energy that'd result in creating an explosion powerful enough to destroy not only the planet, but entire dimensions.

It was confirmed in volume 19 that Rimuru had copied this from watching Carrera use it in Ramiris' labyrinth.

Gravity Collapse

An all attribute, nuclear magic that encompasses all magic and physical phenomena that could bypass the highly magic resistant imperial army by creating a compressed super gravity field, forming an artificial black hole that crushes those caught inside to the size of a pebble. The compressed space then implodes, creating a miniature supernova and forming a jet black pillar connecting the surface of the planet to the stratosphere and smashing the targets into dust. The size of this explosion is large enough to affect the entire Forest of Jura if its focus isn't localized to a smaller area.

Since this is a required ability to use for Abyss Annihilation, Rimuru should also have this power.

Emergency Response

A mode created by Ciel that allowed both it and Rimuru to recognize the Suspended World despite not being able to physically move during the time stop, and even directly interfere with and perceive information particles.

Gabriel and Leviathan

The two Ultimate Skills that belong to Velzard. After absorbing her Dragon Factor, Rimuru, too, should have these abilities. See Velzard's section in Summons.

Suspended World

An ability that freezes time across all worlds. There's no concept of defense in the Suspended World, and since time has stopped, all forces such as star attraction and repulsion are no longer working, and there are no binding forces. There are also no inertia and external factors, and shockwaves don't occur easily. If something is attacked in this state, it'd collapse in an instant due to atoms no longer being bonded to each other. Most laws of physics also no longer apply to the Suspended World, with the sole exception being the law of cause and effect. The time stop also has an unconventional power nulling effect. Magicules are also frozen during a Suspended World, so abilities that require magicules to use can't be cast. Even the True Dragon, Ultimate Skill users Rimuru and Veldora are shown to be affected by this, regardless of having very potent resistances to power nulling at this point. This extends to preventing magics such as recovery magic and nullifying Chloe’s ability to send her memories to her past self, something that has let her avoid danger and fatal attacks from an angered Milim. Rimuru should be able to activate this after acquiring Velzard's Dragon Factor.

While the Suspended World is active, Rimuru can still use his slime inherent abilities, control time and space, Spatial Motion, and Azathoth's abilities such as Soul Devourer and Nihility Collapse, as these don't require magicules to use.

Only Digital Lifeforms, beings who'd converted their entire existence into information particles, can “move” freely in the Suspended World.

Spatial Motion

Can now use Spatial Motion to teleport long distances in the Suspended World by using his Soul Corridor to connect to his subordinates and tapping into their senses to gather information on their coordinates. Long distance travel during time stops is normally considered impossible since teleporting requires information particles flying into each other to understand the coordinates.

Grimoire and the Necronomicon

The Grimoire, Book of Sorcery is a magical tome given to the mage Gadra that contains spells managed by Rimuru and Ciel, so all abilities within it are something that Rimuru and Ciel can pull off. Due to being in the same system as the Necronomicon, it should have most of the same abilities minus Demonic specific skills.

The Necronomicon, Book of Magic, is a tome given to Adalmann that also has abilities possessed by Rimuru and Ciel, and is in the same system as the Grimoire. It comes with the sub skills Thought Acceleration, Universal Perception, Demon Lord Haki, Chant Cancellation, Analyze and Assess, All of Creation, Mental Crush, Holy Demonic Reversal, and Domination of the Dead.

Nihility Collapse

Also known as Void Collapse or Turn Null. This is an ability under Azathoth, but it deserves its own section. Nihility Collapse is the ability to control and generate the ultimate destructive void energy from Rimuru’s Chaotic Imaginary Space, with it being an inexhaustible supply. Its nature is the chaos before hell was born and the state after the abyss of hell collapses, and was also the ability that Veldanava used to make the Cardinal World, and by extension the many other worlds that branched off, and lost due to lacking a suitable container for it. Nihility Collapse can erase the information written on the Information Particles and even interfere with the particles themselves, and erase higher level spiritual lifeforms, beings can survive the “nothingness” of the upper levels of Hell due to Nihility existing much further in Hell’s depths. With this ability, Rimuru can enhance himself by circulating the dangerous energy around inside his body or can just directly destroy the enemy without them being able to resist. Since it is an energy that doesn’t exist in the natural world, nulling and negation abilities such as the Magic Nullification possessed by the Giant race, which can block almost all magic, including spiritrons, and the Anti Skill can't nullify it.

Rimuru has many different ways and arts of using this energy source such as:

Imaginary Blade: Rimuru uses Nihility Collapse as a power source to empower his blade, which makes anything it strikes go directly into his Imaginary Space, ignoring any durability. The only way to effectively counter this technique is to avoid the blade altogether, since contact of any kind, even blocking it, will end up with the target being devoured and tossed into the imaginary space.

Nihility Collapse Haze: Thousand Changes Myriad Petals: Empowering his sword with Nihility energy, Rimuru slashes at the target, with the sword’s trajectory changing thousands upon thousands of times in multiple directions, slicing through the target with elusive movements and impeccable power, with the target then scattering like a flower and causing them to disintegrate.

Reliant Immortality and Resurrection

Even if he dies, can be resurrected by Veldora via their shared Soul Corridor the same way he can resurrect Veldora, allowing both to get around the weakness of a True Dragon’s personality resetting after death.

Resistances

All previous resistances to a higher level, and as a True Dragon and Digital Lifeform, should have resistances inherent to both (see Digital Nature and True Dragon physiology sections) and has resistances to the following:

Enhanced Resistance to Soul Manipulation: The skill Resist Spiritual Attacks has evolved to Cancel Spiritual Attacks.

Enhanced Resistance to Existence Erasure: After evolving to a True Dragon, was able to resist Veldora’s Dragon Spirit Haki, which had been erasing him prior as a Demon Slime.

EoS

As of the time of this blog, this evolution of Rimuru has no official name yet unlike the previous ones, so we'll just slot in “End of Series”. This is a state Rimuru achieves at the end of volume 21, and keeps up to the final volume, volume 23 (and beyond once the after stories come out). After being sent to the end of time, his Nihility energy had increased to an unfathomable degree since it accumulated energy over time, with his power sky rocketing as a result when tapping into this energy. Even a basic fireball from him is comparable to nuclear magic, and Ciel even refers to Rimuru as a higher existence with no limits, is omnipotent and the strongest. Shizu says he had effectively become a god at this point. To reach his absolute peak of power, the four True Dragons, Veldora, Velgrynd, Velzard, and Velgaia transform into nucleus cores to fit within the holes located in the hilt Rimuru's sword that he'd named Elpis (or Hope). The dragons can not only still communicate with Rimuru while in this state, but also act in sync to use their abilities to provide extra support for Rimuru, and tap into Rimuru's own power to significantly boost their abilities.

Abilities

Nihility Collapse

At this point, Rimuru's Nihility energy has increased greatly. He's obtained the “Absolute Collapse Factor” due to his Nihility having accumulated so much energy at the end of time and space. He can even convert the negative energy of Nihility to positive energy. As Rimuru is a better user of Nihility Collapse than Veldanava at this point, he should be able to absorb all worlds and sort through all of their information.

Rimuru has gained some new uses with Nihility, such as:

Nihility Eating Collapse Blade: Similar to Imaginary Blade, except the blade is wrapped with Void and any energy that is released is eaten with Soul Gluttony. Since the sword is wrapped in Nihility, even the Anti Skill is unable to negate this, and Multilayer Barriers are cleaved through in a single hit.

World Creation: Using the energy of Nihility Collapse allows for Rimuru to recreate the World, and is also confirmed later by Ciel that the World Creation method is already acquired.

Nihility Aura: By turning his Dragon Spirit Aura into Nihility Collapse, he can nullify attacks and even cancel out the Void from hell that was keeping Velzard in check.

Void Sword Strike: When slashing at a giant, 100 hundred meter body created by Luvelge, the slash turned into a blade of Nihility/Void energy big enough to not only cut through the sky, but cut the giant body in half. It also separated dimensions, unleashing a thunderstorm of “nothingness” and creating a space time storm. The storm then swallowed the massive body, compressing it, cutting it into pieces before collapsing it instantly. The mix of Nihility energy added to this makes it impossible to resist.

Azathoth

With Soul Consumption, Rimuru was able to absorb an array of flame arrows created by Veldanava that were blocking out the entire sky, and states he can instantly absorb anything that he can perceive, with this extending to an entire battlefield.

Spacetime Leap

Also known as Time Warp. After being BFR’d to the end of space and time by Feldway, Ciel analyzed the World Map skill possessed by the otherworlder Mai Furuki, and created a superior version of it, the Spacetime Leap skill. With it, Rimuru can not only freely travel to other dimensions, but also travel to the past. When traveling, the user is noticeably launched through Subspace as the above image shows (don't worry, we'll explain Subspace in the Before the Verdict section). Major spoiler for the end of the series, but Rimuru also uses this to travel to the past of his original world, and revives his original self, Satoru.

It does come with some drawbacks though. The user can't travel to a spacetime they already exist in. Warping through time and other universes also isn't a particularly easy feat for most in Slime either. To do so, one not only needs a huge amount of power to cross the barriers between universes, but also needs to perform complex, arcane calculations and spatial and temporal position data to calculate the coordinates of their own position and the location they want to reach. Ciel pulling this off casually just further supports its status as the Wisdom Manas.

Law Negation

Sends Ivarage flying into the Heavenly Tower, accidentally causing it to collapse and destroying it. The Heavenly Tower is one of the Holy Relics created by the god Veldanava, imbued with a law to remain indestructible, since they're made to protect and stabilize the Cardinal World, preventing its destruction. The laws established by Veldanava are stated to be an absolute and unchanging providence.

Cthulhu

Analyzed and copied Velzard's Stasis authority, so would be able to use the Ultimate Skill Cthulhu. See Velzard's section in the Summons section for further info.

True Dragon Release: White Ice

Similarly to the Storm and Scorch Releases, Rimuru can deploy a “clone” of Velzard outside of his body, while her true self remains inside of him after having absorbed her Dragon Factor.

True Dragon Core Transformation: White Ice

Velzard turns into a nucleus core to fit within one of the holes located on the hilt of Elpis to empower it further. Still has the condition of needing consent from the True Dragon to turn them into a core.

True Dragon Core Transformation: Earth Star.

With Velgaia’s consent, she can be converted into a nucleus core to fit within one of the four holes located on Elpis’ hilt.

Unlike Veldora, Velgrynd, and Velzard, Velgaia is the only one among them whose true self doesn't exist inside Rimuru since her Dragon Factor has never been absorbed by him.

Abilities from Luvelge

Anti Skill

Yeah this has come up a few times already but lets run it back once more and in more depth. We know Veldanava also has this ability since he was using it against Rimuru during their battle, and Luvelge was stated to have all of Veldy’s powers after absorbing him. Rimuru ends up absorbing Luvelge, ergo he'd have this, too.

Anti Skill is a special constitution that shuts down most magic and skills inverse. Yuuki, another wielder of it, was able to smash through Demon Slime Rimuru’s Universal Barrier, despite the latter having high resistance to power nullification and resistance to resistance negation at this point. It was shown to nullify Shion’s Ultraspeed Regeneration, though this effect wore off overtime of not being exposed to the Anti Skill, so the nullification aspect isn't permanent. Status effects are also difficult to apply to a user of this ability, shown when it nullified the corroding effect of Storm Magic. It has protected Yuuki from the effects of touching the Holy Coffin, a coffin entirely made out of spiritual particles, and would incinerate lower end monsters from being near it, while humans would be burned from a single touch.

Despite its incredible negating abilities, Anti Skill does have a few weaknesses. Its effect can only be applied to the user's body, and not weapons they're carrying. It also can't negate abilities that use multiple forces simultaneously, such as Arts.

Stardust Particles

Also known as Stellar Particles, a substance that's the foundation of Star Magic. It has destructive capabilities beyond that even of spiritrons, and can't be countered unless the target analyzes and understands its nature, as shown when Zelanus was unable to absorb Milim's Drago Nova due to not understanding stardust. No barrier can defend against it, and attacks imbued with stardust can't be reflected. It also has a defensive use. A barrier of stardust can be created around the user that nullifies most magical attacks, and can completely block attacks that use spiritrons such as Disintegration. Originally, the only users of this were Star King Veldanava and his daughter Milim, but Ivarage, after absorbing Veldanava and becoming Luvelge, also acquired stardust particles, something Rimuru would have acquired after absorbing her.

Primitive Magic

Rimuru has actually absorbed Primitive Magic attacks from Veldanava and even seen Ramiris use it, but was unable to analyze and use it for himself due to Ciel not being with him at the time. After Ciel returned to him, it's not unreasonable to assume she can do so at any point. And of course, after absorbing Veldanava, Luvelge obtained Primitive Magic. You get the point by now.

Primitive Magic is a magic that is unrelated to the concept of time and can be used even in places where laws don't apply, including the Suspended World. Ramiris, another user of it, could cast healing magic during the stopped time, something that can't be done ordinarily. It also consumes no energy from the user, making them able to endlessly use magic without running out of magicules. While its a magic that can operate in the Suspended World, attacks imbued with it still follow the rule that information particles have a constant speed.

Resurrection

Veldanava can summon the souls of the deceased before they've fully dispersed from the past, present, and future, and can revive them by inserting their souls into pre prepared bodies. The limit to this ability is the user is unable to summon souls that are destroyed entirely, or if the soul has already reincarnated into another life.

Cosmic Awareness

Absorbed Veldanava's sword, Memory/Remembrance, which was likened to the Akashic Records, and records all events across all worlds. Veldanava also viewed the records to see if any had Rimuru failing to survive Drago Nova, only to see that he either tanks it without harm, or counters it. Pretty different from its WN counterpart, but that's a different story.

Resistances

All previous previous resistances, including:

Enhanced resistance to Information Analysis: After transforming into a female form, Guy’s calculative abilities are increased. He also had a near perfect grasp of Diablo's abilities and power, another Ultimate Skill user, who'd resist having his abilities read. Despite this, Guy was still unable to discern Rimuru’s existence.

Enhanced Resistance to Soul Absorption, Conceptual Absorption, and Resistance Negation: When his soul was absorbed by Veldanava, it was revealed Ciel could've returned to Rimuru any time she wanted, and let herself get absorbed. The attack that Veldanava used on Rimuru is stated to be undefendable, ignores all authority to obtain the results that Veldanaga desires, and would work on True Dragons like Velzard as well, who naturally has extremely high resistance to conceptual attacks due to possessing an Ultimate Skill and her nature as a True Dragon. Energy quantity, attack, and defensive strength are meaningless to this ability.

Immunity to Soul Manipulation and Enhanced Resistance to Conceptual Manipulation: (Only when possessing a pseudo soul) When projecting his ego into a pseudo soul, is entirely unaffected by attacks to the soul due to lacking his heart core .

Enhanced Resistance to Resistance Negation: Nihility Collapse can't be nullified by Anti Skill.

Abilities via Food Chain

Given that the ability Food Chain allows Rimuru to use the powers that his subordinates possess, he’d have access to the following skills. We won't be listing out literally everything that would suggest since Rimuru does, for the most part, directly have abilities that are similar (and better) than those his subordinates possess, but we'll go over notable ones.

Experience and Skill

Rimuru doesn't just rely on his physical might for fights. After gaining a human form, he began practicing swordsmanship and learning Arts under Hakurou. While he started off as an amateur, his skills would improve over the course of the story. In fact, mid-fight against the magic-born Gelmud, Rimuru tried using Modelwill to produce magical bolts with his aura, but was unsuccessful initially. However, after trying once again a few minutes later, he's able to use Modelwill to create magical attacks with his aura, albeit unrefined at first. After multiple test shots, he quickly grasps the nature of how it works, and can fire multiple magical bolts in quick succession that Gelmud was no longer able to react to his attacks. Whilst dueling king Gazel in a sword match, Rimuru is able to pinpoint no openings in his stance. He also says he was able to land a hit on Hakurou once by coming up with a tactic that doesn't allow the opponent to gain a sense of distance.

As a Demon Slime, Rimuru’s combat abilities are increased. He could even hold his ground against Hinata the Saint in a sword fight, despite her having an experience advantage. When Hinata began to predict Rimuru's attacks and used feints to lure him into areas she planned to attack, Rapahel, by watching her during the battle, not only saw through her plan, but was able to predict Hinata's own attacks through pre calculations, enabling Rimuru to slowly overwhelm her. Hinata comments that it's as if Rimuru is predicting the future, and that his predictions are more accurate than her Compute Prediction skill, which lets her predict an opponent’s attacks through calculations similarly, but less accurately than Raphael. While fighting Yuuki, Rimuru says his techniques had gotten better after fighting Hinata, letting him keep up. He also quickly picks up on that Yuuki’s Anti Skill doesn't apply to weapons just by noticing how he's evading Rimuru’s sword strikes or parrying them.

Rimuru has also picked up some barehanded martial arts from Hakurou, and was able to point out openings in Shion's stance in her duel against Sufia. He's also learned combat from demon lord Milim, and improved significantly, with Milim going as far to say she approves of him becoming a demon lord if he wishes. When fighting Milim while she was pretending to be mind controlled by Clayman and holding back, Rimuru is able to somewhat hold his against Milim after becoming a Demon Slime due to his combat ability having increased, lasting dozens of minutes against her, and says he would've lost to her in less than a minute back when he was a Slime. While focusing purely on defense, he's shown to dodge all her attacks, and even switches from his slime and human forms to evade them. He also attempts an over the shoulder throw against her (this is unsuccessful in the novel, but in the anime, he's able to pull it off).

As a way to present a challenge for himself, Milim, Veldora, and Ramiris, Rimuru created Avatar Cores for him and his friends to possess, with these cores serving as weaker monster avatars. While in these avatars, they'd go into Ramiris' labyrinth, and battle other adventurers and monsters. Through this, they'd be able to have fun, level up their avatars, and improve their combat ability. Things learned in their avatars would also go back to their original bodies, and they'd repeat this as a form of training. Though they started off by fighting against low level monsters and adventurers, they eventually grew powerful enough in their avatar bodies to take on higher level people, such as Team Green Fury, a group of powerful adventurers who'd conquered nearly half of the labyrinth. After defeating many adventuring teams, they'd earn the title Dungeon Dominators, both out of fear and respect for the group.

Rimuru has also displayed proficient skill in using the abilities he's gained across the series. He's able to use two of his Unique Skills simultaneously, which is considered extremely difficult for most. His Megiddo is also by no means something easy to control. The calculations are in fact done by Great Sage, with it calculating the angle of refraction, and then controlling and aiming the beams of light to hit targets directly in the head. Controlling this requires a high computational ability that no normal person can reach. Even the monster hunting expert Hinata the Saint comments that such an ability requires a high calculative power, and that Rimuru must be quite intelligent to pull it off. Since he has full control over the void energy of Nihility Collapse, he should have an even better finesse with it than Testarossa, who can only control void energy to a much less extent because of how dangerous it is, and hers was likened to playing chess against the best one thousand chess masters of all time simultaneously, and still dominating all the boards.

Rimuru can switch over to an auto battle mode and let his computer waifu pilot his body.  When letting Great Sage take the reins of his body, Rimuru’s skills are used at maximum efficiency, and it can demonstrate perfect mastery of all of his abilities too. Rimuru, who'd been struggling against the Orc Lord, was able to overwhelm the Orc Lord while letting the Great Sage pilot his body. After cutting off the Orc Lord’s arm and casting a Black Flame on the bisected section, Great Sage maintains the Black Flame to prevent the arm from regenerating, which Hakuro says requires far finer control and precision than simply unleashing a brief but powerful conflagration. Great Sage’s skills also extend to videogames. While playing Pac-Man, it would've gotten a perfect score (15:16 - 20:26) had it not been interrupted by Ramiris.

Rimuru also isn't helpless without Ciel. Though he's said multiple times that without Ciel he'd probs be as weak as Gobta in combat ability, this is in fact Rimuru underestimating himself, something Ciel also points out when Rimuru was, for the first time since incarnating, fighting without Ciel helping him. While battling Veldanava in a sword fight without Ciel managing his abilities, both showed zero openings, with their offense and defense being stated to be equal. Rimuru and Veldanava also considered their skills on par with each other. Rimuru is also quick to think on his feet after Veldanava let himself get hit to catch Rimuru off guard, with Rimuru quickly transforming into his slime form to evade the following sword strike. Matching Veldanava in skill is notably impressive since Veldanava’s swordsmanship skills were stated by Rimuru to surpass the likes of both Hakurou and Agera.

Of course, Rimuru and Ciel operate better together rather than separately since you're essentially fighting two people in one body, with this being best showcased in the fight against Veldora and Velgrynd. When Raphael went to neutralize an attack from Veldora with Absolute Defense, Rimuru suggested they avoid the attack instead, much to Rapahel’s confusion. Seeing the attack penetrate the Absolute Defense after grazing Rimuru, which was outside of Raphael’s calculations, it enters a depressed state briefly, to which Rimuru says that Veldora is hard to predict due to his Ultimate Skill having the ability to manipulate probability, and reassures Raphael that making a mistake isn't anything to worry about, and to instead focus on holding off Velgrynd's attacks, while Rimuru focuses on Veldora. After naming Raphael “Ciel”, they then engage the two True Dragons again, except this time, Ciel neutralizes all of Velgrynd's attacks, while keeping Rimuru's energy consumption rate equal to zero. Velgrynd also notices that Rimuru wasn't paying attention to her, but was focusing on Veldora, further showing that Rimuru and Ciel can focus on different enemies from each other in combat while in sync.

Intelligence

(Aka Great Sage/Raphael/Ciel glazing).

Great Sage was able to instantly analyze the Unlimited Imprisonment, and calculate the odds of success for individual escape routes. It was also capable of guiding Veldora to victory in his match against Ifrit in a game of shogi. Via the skill All of Creation, can instantly understand all phenomena about something as long as he recognizes and understands what it is he wants to learn about. Was also able to decipher and copy the language of the Cardinal World in a short amount of time to help Rimuru write and speak the language. While visiting a library that had so many magic tomes that it'd take someone a lifetime to read them all, Great Sage was able to instantly analyze and record individual books, and in a matter of two days, had successfully recorded them all, with Rimuru having them all memorized as the result. Speaking of literature, Great Sage was able to perfectly recreate manga that Rimuru had read by looking into his memories, even going as far to convert the Japanese language to the Cardinal World’s language while doing this. Great Sage was stated by Veldora to be suited for strategizing and analyzing, with its analyzing capabilities being equal or potentially better than Veldora's Inquirer Unique Skill, which was able to consult a record of the world’s events, and discern that Diablo was hiding his true power to instead appear as powerful as a greater demon instead of an arch demon.

After Rimuru and Great Sage evolved to Demon Slime and Raphael respectively, the success rate of performing the Secret Art of Resurrection, which was previously calculated at 3.14%, shot up to a point that Raphael was able to seamlessly perform it. Raphael's calculation skills go beyond quantum computing, and it can easily calculate global economic effects even more accurately than the Earth Simulator supercomputer in Japan. It also developed a new type of Legion magic that allowed Rimuru to transport an entire army instantly. Raphael instantly was able to copy and memorize the food recipes for food prepared by the maids Mizeri and Raine. Makes a blueprint for a colosseum using the Colosseum of Rome as a base. Can also make music sheets of songs Rimuru had listened to in his original world perfectly. Raphael tricks Glenda into revealing that the Rozzo family were the ones behind a plan to make Rimuru an enemy of humanity without her even saying anything. Raphael deciphers a complex spell meant to prevent a door from being breached, and even teaches a team of explorers how to do so, too. When viewing tank guns through the Argos system, Raphael was instantly able to analyze them, and understood the mass of the shells, velocity based on the distance and time of arrival, the kinetic energy, the muzzle energy, and penetrative capacity.

When Raphael was given the name Ciel, it evolved even further, and her computational capabilities increased to a point where Raphael can't even compare. She could even alter the Ultimate Skill system by modifying the abilities of Ultimate Skill users, which was thought only possible by the creator Veldanava. After being exposed to Michael's time stop, Ciel began to work on a countermeasure for it, and shortly after, had developed the ability Emergency Response, which lets Rimuru and Ciel observe events during a time stop, even though they can't move, and starts to evolve him into a Digital Lifeform. The final time Rimuru encounters Michael, he was able to move during the time stop thanks to Ciel having observed how it functions and evolving him. When Rimuru's soul was absorbed by Veldanava, Ciel, who's assimilated with Rimuru's soul, reveals to Veldanava that she had anticipated this, and could return to Rimuru at any point, and that this was a plan for Rimuru to gain confidence in his fighting capabilities without Ciel assisting. The Wisdom Core, which Ciel is noted to be, is stated to specialize in calculations too.

Reactive Evolution and Empowerment

There have been multiple situations where Rimuru has found himself in a jam, but managed to bail himself out or from his AI companion giving him an ability on the spot to counter a threat. When getting cornered by Hinata, Rapahel was able to precalculate her attacks, and gave Rimuru the ability Future Attack Prediction, allowing him to see which of her attacks were faints, and which were legitimate from those precalculations.

While attempting to absorb Veldora, Rimuru was unable to due to the latter’s own resistance to absorption, but after Ciel analyzed Veldora's energy, was able to evolve Rimuru into the True Dragon species, allowing Rimuru to absorb Veldora. As mentioned before, when Michael used the Suspended World to stop time, Rimuru was initially unable to resist it. When exposed to it again, Ciel gave him the ability to retain his consciousness even while frozen in time so they could analyze and adapt to it. And then, when Michael stopped time in their final confrontation, Rimuru was able to successfully move in the Suspended World due to Ciel having evolved him into a Digital Lifeform.

Some information analysis users can gain partial or full resistance to abilities by analyzing and understanding the principles behind said ability, and then neutralizing it. When Rimuru was exposed to the Holy Field barrier, Great Sage quickly performed an analysis on it, giving Rimuru partial resistance to its effects. Shuna was able to completely nullify Kirara’s Unique skill after seeing it once and running an analysis on it. When Mariabell used Death Wish on him, Raphael analyzed it and gave Rimuru resistance to it so that it'd no longer pose a threat to him (ignoring how it didn't affect him in the first place due to Rimuru having an Ultimate Skill). Guy Crimson even managed to analyze Yuuki's Anti Skill and bypass its negation effects despite it being able to nullify his magic initially. Much later, after seeing Velzard's strongest attack in action and analyzing her two Ultimate Skills, he not only copies them, but gives himself immunity to them as well.

Even without Food Chain feeding power back to him from his subordinates growing stronger, Rimuru is constantly growing more powerful. When fighting against Veldanava without Ciel's aid, Veldanava notices that Rimuru is growing stronger, getting used to fighting, and his skills improving with experience. And then, when fighting against Ivarage without Ciel directly assisting him, Rimuru quickly adapts to aerial combat in the Suspended World. Surprised by his own power after knocking Ivarage into the Heavenly Tower, Ciel says the reason is because Rimuru is evolving everyday. In fact, his rate of growth was allowing him to overwhelm Ivarage to the point she began to think she'd lose. This is especially interesting since Ivarage also has her own reactive evolution and empowerment, and was learning and countering Veldora's techniques, acquiring her own martial arts, and developing them. She also gains an Ultimate Skill mid fight against Guy Crimson, which would help increase her skill and level at an even faster rate. She would start learning from Guy’s techniques, and replicating the skills of Lucia, Veldanava's wife, whom she had absorbed. Guy even comments that her rate of growth is abnormal. Ivarage's cells also allowed Jahil, Cornu and Vega to instantly adapt to the Suspended World and become digital life forms. Despite this, she was unable to adapt and evolve at a rate to overpower Rimuru. And, after absorbing Ivarage, Rimuru's reactive growth and empowerment should be even better due to gaining hers on top of his own.

Summons

Rimuru teeeeechnically has millions of summons at his disposal, largely because he can literally summon an army of demons and angels. Since we obviously can't go over who all this would be and most people definitely aren't looking at Rimuru matches as “Rimuru and his army vs X character”, we'll instead cover four of his strongest ones, Veldora, Velgrynd, Velzard, and Velgaia, the True Dragon siblings. All four are also needed to actually cover his peak power with Elpis anyways, so without further ado…

Veldora Tempest

Veldora is the fourth True Dragon who governs and controls storms and can manipulate space, who is infamous for rampaging throughout the world. 300 years ago, he destroyed the city of Night Rose, causing him to get targeted by the Hero Chronoa and promptly sealed within the Infinity Prison, until he is set free by Rimuru.

During his time inside Rimuru’s stomach, he read manga by going through Rimuru’s memories, allowing him to create the Veldora Style Killing Arts, based on fictional techniques such as Street Fighter’s Hadoken, Shoryuken, Tatsumaki Senpukyaku, and Dragon Ball’s Kamehameha. The Veldora Style Killing Arts also has completely original techniques that it can be used for shown by Veldora, Charys (formerly the flame spirit Ifrit), and Zegion such as:

Initially, Veldora only had a single Unique Skill, that being Inquirer, which allowed him to view the records of the world’s events, as well as help analyse the Infinity Prison from the inside out, even allowing Great Sage to interact with Info particles.

After Rimuru’s Harvest Festival (though it was used as a pretense to hide the fact that Raphael pressured him), Veldora gained the ultimate skill Lord of Investigation Faust, which has increased analytical power from it’s predecessor by atleast a thousand times. The ultimate skill has five different sub authorities under it such as  Thought Acceleration, Analytical Appraisal, Probability Manipulation, Pursuit of truth and All of Creation.

Like Rimuru, he gained All of Creation which allows a person to understand any unconcealed phenomena as well as Probability Manipulation, which allows the user to manipulate events by doubling the probability of the outcome for opponents that were equal or weaker to the user if the opponent is stronger then the effects become fifty/fifty. Faust’s Probability Manipulation makes Veldora's attacks hard to predict, tricking Raphael’s calculations and tearing through Demon Slime's Rimuru’s Absolute Defense even though both have resistances to probability manipulation. His Thought Acceleration is likely equal to Rimuru’s 1 million times perception speed and still having pursuit of truth allowing access to the world’s records. After some time, Faust gained a sub-skill of Danger Prediction that, if passive allows Veldora to escape peril by sensing future events that will harm the user.

Veldora gained a Soul Corridor with Rimuru which culminated in giving Rimuru his soul and his ultimate skill which is stored within his. This means that if Veldora “dies” then Rimuru can replace him with a new veldora with the same memories.

Later after Ciel modified his skill, it evolved into Nyarlathotep Lord of Chaos. With this upgrade, he can use Parallel Existence which allows him to make other bodies like Velgrynd but with less mastery and amount of bodies, even gaining the same Multi-Dimensional barrier that skills that Ciel modified gained alongside Space-time manipulation.

During his battle with Dagruel, he can manipulate the probability of his own existence to the point of switching to his other body in an instant to deceive the True Eye of Dagruel and even thinning out the probability of his own existence to the point where destructive waves pass through his body.

With Fertility Paradox, Veldora uses his divine protection to restore and heal the area, being able to make chaotic magicules into stable ones, returning them to their natural state even making allies and enemies alike drowsy with it, even turning a barren wasteland into a place with lush plants. Since it is not an attack, it is unable to be resisted.

Dragon Claw is a technique which has the ability that has a “severing ability” that allows it to cut anything in the world.

As the originator of Storm Magic, he has access to all of the storm abilities that Rimuru and certain subordinates use and more which are Black Flames, Dark Lightning and it’s weakened form Black Lightning, Death-Calling Wind, Destruction Storm, Ruin Tempest, Thunderstorm & VII, Storm Blast. Storm magic has the properties of Storms, Destruction, Corrosion and Annihilation, with corrosion being potent enough to corrode the target from the inside out, negating regeneration.

In his full, unsealed dragon form, he's shown to easily dwarf the size of the surrounding buildings around himself.

In terms of combat ability and martial skills, Veldora is one of Tempest’s best. The Veldora Style Killing Arts lets practitioners of this easily discern the difference in skill between fighters. Ifrit, who Veldora took under his wing to train in the Veldora Style Killing Arts, could easily spot that King Gazel had much better experience and skill in swordsmanship than an early series Rimuru possessed. Veldora also quickly discerns how Gazel fights, that being imbuing his moves with Heroic Presence to sense the movements of his opponent ahead of time, and comments that this level of skill is nothing compared to the hero Chronoa. He also compares Hinata's fighting style to Chronoa's, but says that unlike Hinata, Chronoa never wasted a single motion.

Most impressively, Veldora is the master of the Insectoid Zegion, who, after awakening from his evolutionary sleep, quickly rose to the top spot of the Elite Ten, who are the ten strongest floor guardians of Ramiris' labyrinth. Among the floor guardians, only Veldora, the final boss of the labyrinth, can challenge him. Zegion is also one of Rimuru's Top Three, a title given to the three most powerful subordinates of Rimuru, with Benimaru and Diablo being the other two Top Three members. All three compete with each other to earn the title of the strongest subordinate.

Like Rimuru, Milim, and Ramiris, Veldora too, has also possessed an avatar body to challenge many adventurers and fellow monsters in Ramiris' labyrinth. This process involved creating a weak monster to possess, going from their original power to a much weaker state. Over time, they'd get used to these avatar bodies, with said bodies growing more powerful, and their original bodies retaining everything they'd learned. Despite initially struggling against even beginner level adventuring parties, their teamwork, skill, and continued practice lead them to build up experience and abilities. They then went on to defeat Team Green Fury, a group of powerful adventurers who conquered nearly half of Ramiris' labyrinth. Veldora was also noted to be an exceptionally skilled swordsman while possessing his avatar body, a skeleton knight.

The ultimate culmination of Veldora's skill is shown during his fight against his friend the demon lord Dagruel, leader of the race of Giants. Thanks to his training in the labyrinth over the years as well as guiding the labyrinth guardians to help them grow more powerful, and fighting Rimuru and his sister Velgrynd, his skill and experience had considerably improved to where he could fight evenly with Dagruel purely relying on his martial arts skills. This battle is described as a martial arts battle that defies imagination and pro wrestling. During this, Veldora leads Dagruel around the battlefield to ensure the after effects and shock waves caused by them don't result in any casualties. As the battle goes on, Veldora's technique grows sharper, and is stated to be a first class martial artist. This also served to give Veldora more experience to fight off an opponent who can throw a lot of moves at him. He even hatches a plan mid-fight and chips away at Dagruel's stamina to guarantee his energy is too low to resist his abilities.

(See, Terminology section for additional abilities and resistances).

Velgrynd

The third True Dragon, who embodies the concept of acceleration and possesses control over fire. Velgrynd served as the second in command of the Eastern Empire for thousands of years with her lover and the Empire’s ruler, Rudra, and later his reincarnation, Masayuki. With True Dragon Release: Scorch, Rimuru can summon a “clone” of Velgrynd from within himself, while her true self remains inside of his Imaginary Space after absorbing her Dragon Factor.

Her weapons of choice are…well the feathered fan in the above image is one. By imbuing it with her aura, its stated to be harder than diamond, and could clash with Carrera's sword, which had reached the Ultimate level. She can also summon crimson spears for a ranged weapon, to which she was able to hurl with enough force to destroy 50 floors of Ramiris' labyrinth, and summon a blue broadsword with the Matter Creation skill, with this sword being on the mythical level.

She's even shown the ability to use Carrera’s Gravity Collapse with even better control and precision than Carrera herself, nuking an entire army with it without damaging the ground.

By raising her mana, Velgrynd can interfere with someone else's magic, rendering it powerless.

Velgrynd’s Ultimate Skill is Raguel, Lord of Charity. Raguel greatly amplifies the effects of Velgrynd's skills, and lets her freely manipulate all energies at will.

With Burning Breath, Velgrynd shoots a beam of light from her mouth that burns at ultra high temperatures. It has the Accelerated Destruction effect applied to it, causing one's magic to go haywire if directly hit. Accelerated Destruction speeds up all life events, increases destructive effects, and accelerates all life activity of targets. Even Spiritual lifeforms can't resist this ability.

Another of Velgrynd's arts is the Cardinal Cage. By using Burning Breath to reduce the ground to molten rocks, lava forms underneath the surface. Lava then shoots up around the target, trapping them in a flaming cage, with temperatures reaching tens of thousands degrees. Lava will then shoot up underneath the spot the target is standing above. This area is also under the effect of Spatial Domination, preventing escape via teleportation.

Parallel Existence is similar to the ability Replicant, but is in fact superior in nature. Parallel Existence allows Velgrynd to split her consciousness into separate existences of herself called Split Bodies, and all the existences have full access to the user's abilities unlike a Replicant, and since the consciousness is divided, they all can act independently. Even if a split body is beaten, as long as even one is alive, that body will become the main body. This isn't without its limits though. If a Split Body is defeated, that portion of the user's divided magic is also depleted. Damage to the Split Bodies will also reduce how much magic is returned to Velgrynd when undoing one of her existences.

Velgrynd can manipulate space itself to allow herself or others to traverse long distances instantly. Spacetime Connection lets her connect two different spatial coordinates, with a “gate” appearing that connects the spaces together.

Velgrynd can also perform Nuclear Cannon by deploying eleven rays of light, which also fire Burning Breath at the same time for a multi stage heat ray attack hot enough to vaporize an asteroid.

Cardinal Acceleration is Velgrynd's strongest attack. Velgrynd applies both Raguel’s support and her own innate Acceleration to herself. This can then either be fired as an energy attack that moves thousands of times faster than sound, or Velgrynd can launch herself like a meteor at sub-light speed and change her course. If hit by this attack, one is forced into a continuous acceleration, leading to thermal decay, and causing all their matter to collapse in an instant.

After Ciel combines Raguel and part of Rimuru’s Uriel, Raguel evolves to Divine Flame King Cthugha, and Velgrynd states it is far more powerful than Raguel had been. The sub skills Thought Acceleration, Thermal Excitation, Parallel Existence, Spacetime Manipulation, Dimension Leap, and Multidimensional Barrier are included under this. She also gets the Physical Attack Nullification, Natural Effects Nullification, Abnormal Condition Nullification, Mental Attack Nullification, and Holy Demonic Attack Resistance sub skills to further amplify her resistances.

By combining her spacetime manipulation and Dimension Leap, she can even perform a Spacetime Leap, traveling through time across all worlds. However, since this version is strictly made for tracking a target once specified, she is unable to freely travel to just any universe and timeline. This still has the same limitation as other users of this, wherein they can't teleport to a parallel world where another version of themself exists at.

Her manipulation of spacetime also improved after gaining Cthuga. By combining Dimension Leap with her spatial manipulation, Velgrynd can trace someone's soul across time itself and launch a Spacetime Continuous Attack at them. Even if the attack hits someone's clone or a Split Body/Parallel Existence, their true self is also affected by it. Another use of her spacetime manipulation lets her “accelerate the march of time”, speeding up events. She can also twist space to redirect attacks.

Velgrynd can also revitalize someone's cells. Just by touching the 50 year old Empress, she immediately regained her youthful appearance. The Empress’ body also developed a more efficient energy intake, and her lifespan was doubled as a result. She's learned holy magic in her travels across worlds, and can use it to regenerate injuries to either herself or others. After healing Xianhua, Velgrynd also gives her some of her own power after Xianhua’s was stolen, with this making Xianhua stronger than she had been previously.

Her dragon form is crimson in color. As of now, this is the only visual for how it looks. In terms of size, she should reasonably be comparable to Veldora's form, and is shown being large enough to wrap around Veldora's own dragon form to restrain him in that picture.

Velgrynd is an extremely skilled fighter. In a brief hand to hand exchange with Veldora, she immediately realized that his fighting capabilities had improved since the last time they'd fought each other. And by letting herself purposely get hit by Veldora, she deduced that not only did he have an Ultimate Skill, but the nature of it being geared towards excelling in analytical capabilities. She also knows breathing techniques that extend one's lifespan, and taught these to the wives of high ranking officials. Velgrynd is the founder of the Dragon Fist Art, which, similarly to the Drago Fist that was invented by Milim, combines martial arts and the user's fighting aura, which she would teach to a man named Long, who would go on to teach many others this styles, with this passing on for generations. Before retiring, Long would perform a ritual that passes his spirit on to a worthy successor, with said successor inheriting his combat prowess. This cycle would continue to the present day. Velgrynd was also able to defeat the current wielder of the Dragon Fist, Xianhua, who possesses the skills, experience, and knowledge of all Dragon Fist users before her.

Velgrynd is also stated to be equal to the Primordial Testarossa in combat ability, and would win in a prolonged confrontation.

(See, Terminology section for additional abilities and resistances).

  • Note: While Rimuru can use just about all of Veldora and Velgrynd’s abilities himself, for some reason he can't use Parallel Existence. Fuse will likely never explain why either.

Velzard

The second eldest of the True Dragon siblings, whose main attribute is ice and embodies the concept of deceleration, the opposite of Velgrynd. Velzard served as an ally to the Demon Lord Guy Crimson for thousands of years, and has fought against and matched the likes of her brother Veldora, who described her as his natural enemy and a bad matchup for himself. She's also fought her sister Velgrynd, with it being stated she never fought either seriously and was holding back, and has matched Guy Crimson himself, marking her as one of the most powerful beings in the verse, true to her existence as a True Dragon. After gaining the ability True Dragon Release: White Ice, Rimuru can summon a “clone” of Velzard from within himself.

Fun fact: the above pic is Velzard in a suppressed state. When she's actually serious, she switches to her battle form. She's capable of flying, having an aerial battle with Guy that created shockwaves powerful enough to affect the ground had it not been protected.

Velzard also possesses a cognitive ability that grants an extremely heightened degree of enhanced senses and analytical abilities, being able to sense individuals in entirely different continents, even if they're concealing their presence. This is stated to either be comparable or superior to Milim's “Milim Eye”, which can:

She has a very high control over her own aura, to the point that Demon Slime Rimuru wasn't aware of her presence, and says he wouldn't have guessed her true identity as a True Dragon had he not been told. This high level of control was even noted by Veldora, and this was long after he himself had gained proficiency in controlling and suppressing his own aura. When not suppressed, her aura emits a freezing effect on a scale large enough to freeze the entire northern continent where she and Guy live.

Despite her power having the effect of freezing and being known as the Frost Dragon, ice isn't the true nature of her power, but rather a side effect of it. What it actually does is “stop” matter in its current state, freezing all activity, including life itself.

Velzard's Ultimate Skill, Patience King Gabriel, lets her fix the status and respond to circumstances. This “fixes” all matter in its current state. She can even stop time by activating the Suspended World via Gabriel’s concept of fixation.

Gabriel also comes with the skill Snow Crystal, which surrounds the user in an icy, diamond dust. This acts as a barrier that nullifies and repels all manner of attacks, including wavelengths and frequencies. This barrier can even nullify Disintegration. Spiritual attacks (I.E, attacks utilizing spiritrons) can pass through this barrier, but only if the opponent has energy comparable to or surpasses Velzard's own energy. This can even nullify Guy Crimson’s magical attacks.

With Eternal World, Velzard creates an enclosed world with a magicule blizzard that endlessly replenishes her energy. This world forcibly suspends all laws. This space is vast enough to “freeze” an entire army, and could prevent the demon Carrera, a spiritual life form, from leaving her physical body, showing this affects the spiritual body too. Areas affected by this also has its smell nullified, as Ranga, who was using his Wind Manipulation to collect scent particles, couldn't find any. The ability Magic Sense is also ineffective in this area due to magicules being disrupted. Guy’s Calamity Claw, which is highly effective against spiritual life forms, was also nullified in this space, due to the “freezing” effect working on the information particle level, freezing all physical and mental matter.

Air Wall is a defensive technique that solidifies the atmosphere to block attacks.

With Freezing Breath, Velzard blows a burst of air to freeze and nullify attacks.

She can also create “freezing waves” powerful enough to cause a mountain range to collapse, and would've pierced through Guy’s defensive abilities.

Leviathan, Lord of Envy is Velzard's second Ultimate Skill. It allows her to degrade the abilities of her opponent, lowering them in proportion to her own.

Whiteout Absorb is Velzard's strongest attack. It combines the abilities of both Gabriel and Leviathan, creating a shockwave that was powerful enough to destroy Moss’ barrier and damage Guy. Guy’s Divine Regeneration was also nullified by the resulting “freezing” effect.

After having Ciel optimize her abilities, Gabriel and Leviathan are merged to become the Ultimate Skill Cthulhu. It retains the abilities of the former two Ultimate Skills, but optimized to higher levels and with no waste in energy efficiency.

Her dragon form is snow white in color, but much like Velgrynd's, lacks a clear visual as of now, with this being the only showing currently.

In terms of skill, she fought Guy Crimson to a draw the first time they met. When they fought again thousands of years later, their battle lasted for dozens of hours, with both being described as transcendent fighters, and their fight was something that no “garden variety demon lord” could endure. This fight consisted of both sides not going all out at first, but feeling out each other's abilities while increasing the power of their strikes. They even mix in fatal attacks that both sides spot and nullify instantly, with it being stated that even a skilled spectator wouldn't be able to spot which attacks are fatal and which aren't. Guy also acknowledges that even though he'd gotten more powerful the first time they fought, Velzard had as well. It should be noted that Guy has never lost a fight for a minimum of thousands of years, with his only loss being to Veldanava.

(See, Terminology section for additional abilities and resistances).

Velgaia

The pet dragon of Milim, given to her by her father, Veldanava. Originally known as Gaia, it would be Milim's only family after her father and mother were killed during an assassination attempt. However, Gaia too was eventually killed during a scheme to put Milim under the control of the High Human Jahil. Milim, in a rage, destroyed Jahil and the entire kingdom he'd been leading. Due to all the lives she'd taken during her rampage, Milim had evolved into a True Demon Lord, and Gaia revived as a result thanks to the Harvest Festival. Since its soul was still damaged, it revived into a more corrupted form, and would be known as the Chaos Dragon. After Milim is calmed down by the duo Guy and Ramiris, she's forced to seal away Gaia, as it had, in its corrupt state, gone on a path of destruction.

Thousands of years later, Gaia was unsealed by Yuuki and Mariabell, with the latter using her Unique Skill to place it under her control. Upon having its physical body destroyed by Milim, Rimuru absorbs Gaia's soul and reconstructs it, except this time repairing it as well in the process. After putting the soul in a Pseudo Soul and merging it with a Master Core, Gaia recreates a physical body that would serve as its new primary vessel.

During the events of volume 23, Gaia would play a part in assisting in the defeat of the World Destroyer Ivarage. Rimuru, after being prompted by the lingering thoughts of Veldanava and Lucia, decides to name Gaia, Velgaia, inheriting the will of Veldanava and becoming the sixth True Dragon. While Rimuru technically can't summon a clone of Velgaia due to never absorbing her Dragon Factor, it's established that a connection between them exists after Rimuru named her, and she should be able to respond to Rimuru’s calls to trigger a True Dragon Core Transformation.

With Chaotic Breath, Velgaia fires a wide ranging breath attack that can take out a group of enemies. Said attack is a highly concentrated miasma that corrodes any substance it touches, and is similar to the Corrosion of Rimuru's Beelzebuth.

Velgaia also possesses control over gravity, and can manipulate it to slow down or outright stop one's movements. She can even create a Gravity Barrier, which reduces the effects of physical attacks.

Velgaia has shown to be able to perform Dimensional Leap, warping instantly to Milim's location after sensing her rage.

Energy can be concentrated on Velgaia, who can then use that to create an Ultimate Barrier. The exact size of this was never stated, though its likely planetary, given the purpose of this barrier was to protect the entire Cardinal planet by nullifying attacks and shockwaves from Rimuru and Luvelge's fight.

Velgaia doesn't have as much combat experience as its True Dragon siblings, though she's not exactly lacking either. After being taken into Ramiris' labyrinth by Rimuru and co to battle other monsters, Velgaia quickly got the hang of fighting, and according to Rimuru, became integral to their party.

Tempestians

As the leader of Tempest, Rimuru reins as its strongest member. And because of his skill Food Chain, the power of his subordinates scales back to him.

True Dragons

(by timefreezer4)

Not only has Rimuru fought two True Dragons (Veldora and Velgrynd) at once simultaneously and successfully beaten them in volume 15, but he was also stated to be one of the few capable of taking True Dragons on. In volume 23, Velzard also admits that Rimuru is far more powerful than her, so he'd upscale their feats immensely.

Guy Crimson

(by timefreezer4)

Guy has admitted he'd have little chance of defeating the creator Veldanava, who Rimuru overwhelmed in a one on one duel and absorbs the power of, so he'd upscale Guy's feats.

Milim Nava

Not only has Rimuru been shown tanking the Drago Nova, Milim's most powerful attack, but she says that Rimuru likely could've killed her while she was being mind controlled and driven into a frenzy had he been serious, so he'd upscale her feats.

Veldanava and Ivarage

To explain this one, the guy on the left is Veldanava, the creator of the multiverse, and the one on the right is Ivarage, the World Destroyer and Veldanava's “other half”. They used to be a single entity, before splitting off from each other.

In volume 23, Rimuru matches Veldanava in combat, with the latter acknowledging Rimuru is on par with him. Ivarage eventually absorbs Veldanava, gaining all his power and becoming Luvelge. Even with this boost in power, Rimuru overwhelms her, and Luvelge states she's likely to lose to Rimuru if the fight continues. To top this off, Rimuru ends the fight by absorbing Luvelge, gaining her power to add on to his own. The monsters Swim, Habataki, and Paddler were created from Ivarage's high density of magicules, who she'd much more powerful than.

Overall

  • Lead and defended a goblin village from an army of direwolves.
  • Founder of the Jura Tempest Federation, and ruled as its leader for five years.
  • Singlehandedly wiped out the army of Farmuth, which consisted of over twenty thousand soldiers.
  • Has beaten S rank individuals such as the demon lord Clayman and Hinata the Saint.
  • Evolved into an awakened demon lord, and not only joined the ranks of the Demon Lord Council, but would become its ruler as the Great Demon Lord.
  • Among the beings to achieve a Special S rank, putting him amongst the strongest beings in the setting.
  • Freed the Kingdom of Malukshure from the rule of the Trinity Wisemen.
  • Simultaneously fought and defeated the True Dragons Veldora and Velgrynd.
  • Became the fifth True Dragon.
  • Defeated Manas Michael, ruler of the Eastern Empire.
  • Saved the multiverse from the god creator Veldanava and the World Destroyer, Ivarage.
  • One of the most popular isekai franchises.
  • FIVE COURS.

Weaknesses

If for whatever reason Rimuru loses access to Ciel, his combat capabilities are partially reduced, and he'd lose access to a large portion of his abilities. The first time he fought without Ciel's aid, he stated his skills were possibly on par with Gobta, one of his weakest subordinates. Now, while this was Rimuru underestimating himself as pointed out by Ciel, and he did quickly adapt to fighting without Ciel and can still use some of his abilities, partially removing this as a “weakness”, he says he can't use the more complex ones without Ciel managing them since they're beyond his understanding. He'd also be unable to perform information analysis, as shown when he couldn't locate his soul/heart core after it had been absorbed into Veldanava.

If Rimuru is successfully “killed”, while he would revive due to his nature as a True Dragon, he'd have his personality reset and holes in his memory, so that'd effectively count as a loss for him. However, if Veldora is allowed in a fight with him, this can be mitigated since Veldora can revive him with all his memories and personality intact since Rimuru keeps a backup of himself stored in Veldora.

Oh, he's also a simp for elf ladies (Can you blame him though).

Azusa Aizawa

Background

“It’s not okay to say you’re working hard all the time like it’s a good thing! Look — the sun’s setting. It gets dark at night because the world is telling us it’s time to stop for the day. I didn’t get strong by pushing myself, all I did was live a moderate lifestyle. Now that you’re my apprentice, you need to follow these rules too.”

Azusa Aizawa was twenty-seven years old when her life ended. She was a corporate slave, with no life, dreams, or desires of any kind other than to work until she couldn’t work anymore. Until her death, her life had been completely empty.

But when she died, it was only just a new beginning. She awoke to a goddess who took pity on her self-destructive lifestyle. As a result, that goddess would give Azusa anything she wanted in her new life. Azusa only had one wish: immortality. With a wave of the goddess’ wand, her new soul would be transplanted into a young, eternal body in the simple province of Nanterre.

A small cottage, an empty field, and a peaceful village nearby gave her the perfect new start to her life. She was going to be lazy, and live as fulfilling of an existence as she could with her new immortal body. With that, she set up a farm on her cottage, and traveled to the village of Flatta to get familiar with her new home.

On her way, she would encounter a common monster. A slime. Measly, paltry, and weak, but could be killed for magic stones. This provided her a source of income, and she made a habit of killing these slimes for a substantial amount of money every day. This was the beginning of her slow life in a new fantasy world.

And so, three hundred years passed.

Azusa had made quite a name for herself in the village of Flatta. She was the guardian who watched over the village that lived in a small cottage in the highlands. Spending her many years around Flatta, she helped the people through plagues, diseases, and ceremonies during her slow and peaceful life. This allowed her to be recognized among the village, gaining the title of The Witch of the Highlands. Then, one day, she went to the guild and was curiously asked what her status was. Not thinking much of it, she checked and…

She saw two words: Level 99. It turned out, killing a few slimes a day over three hundred years really stacked up over time in terms of experience points. Upon seeing that, her entire world shattered. It didn’t take long for word of her strength to start spreading like rapid fire, and immediately crushing her dreams of living slow and peaceful at that moment.

Many kinds of people came to her, looking to challenge the new strongest being in the world. Much to Azusa’s dismay, her attempts to dissuade people only got them more interested in how powerful she was. Eventually this culminated in the strongest challenger she had to face yet, Laika the Red Dragon.

With one of the strongest beings in the entire province at her doorstep, she had no choice but to accept the challenge. A battle ensued… and ended as soon as it began, with Azusa making quick work of the beast, at the cost of a small portion of her house.

However, this encounter would lead to the start of something new in Azusa’s immortal life. Upon seeing The Witch of the Highlands’ true strength, Laika shortly asked to become her student, and to live with her from that point forward. Deciding it would be nice to have the company, Azusa accepted, in exchange for the red dragon fixing her house. With another long-lived companion by her side, Azusa’s world had opened up further.

Her house got bigger, and she met more and more similarly immortal beings as time passed. She met four treasured daughters—Falfa, Shalsha, Wynona, and Sandra—as well as a klutzy elf named Halkara, a ghost named Rosalie, and a battle-loving blue dragon named Flatorte. These new arrivals would all come to live in her home as a big new family. Her name would draw the attention of multiple kingdoms, including the land of demons and its governance—Beelzebub and the Demon King Pecora—and the land of the dead—with its ruler Muu Muu and her maid Nahna Nahna. As well as various other spirits, like Misjantie, the Pine Spirit and Yufufu, the Droplet Spirit. She would even get caught up in godly interventions, as she reunited with the very deity, Goodly Godly Godness, that sent her into this new world.

But Azusa treasured all of her new experiences, because it was a family she never got to have in her previous life. For the rest of her immortal days, she would take it easy, and enjoy her time as it passed. That was the life of the Witch of the Highlands.

Experience and Skill

Azusa is self-admittedly, not an incredibly proficient fighter, with her style being explicitly full of openings. Despite having lived for 300 years, she spent a large majority of it relaxing in her cottage and killing slimes. While she is incredibly good at killing slimes, being able to pinpoint their weak spots with relative ease. This combat experience is obviously very narrow and does not necessarily apply to a wide variety of opponents.

That is to not say she’s completely incapable though. While her fighting style is relatively basic, she does know how to fight to a certain extent. She was also able to keep up with Beelzebub in a martial arts tournament, who is decently skilled at fighting to the point of being able to beat Laika in an even fight. Laika, during the Red Dragon Academy spin-off spended a large portion of her time fighting, training, and bettering herself against fellow fight-hungry red dragons until she had become the strongest dragon, a talent that only arises every half-century. While Azusa obviously doesn’t fully scale in martial skill, she is at least somewhat capable of holding her own.

Azusa is also a prodigious talent when it comes to magic and spells. She is capable of learning magic after only hearing it once, and is capable of developing magic that has no other contemporaries. She is also fairly creative with usages of her magic, developing simple ways for it to be used as a part of her easygoing lifestyle. Even if her style is more brute-force than most, she is always looking for the easiest way to do things.

Equipment

Dagger

A dagger that Azusa carries around that she got when she first was reincarnated. She primarily uses this to kill slimes.

Nutri-Spirits

Straight from Halkara Pharmaceuticals, Nutri-Spirits are energy drinks. They hold similar properties to their real world counterparts, and are useful for people who want to overwork themselves to death.

Mandragora Pills

Pills bought from Eno, the Witch of the Grotto, and resting on her shelf at home. They relieve fatigue, strengthen eyesight, and settle stomach discomfort. They also have the additional effect of curing the symptoms of poison that de-ages you into a child.

Pecora’s Gifts

A bunch of gifts from the Demon King, Pecora. The most notable being a charm that can call a blizzard that would freeze the entire province of Nanterre, a magical item that will turn any mountain into a volcano, and a living cursed ring that allows ghosts to manifest a physical form.

Hiland Pills

After getting stranded on a desert island due to her drowsiness making her fall off of Laika, Azusa developed these pills out of a tree nut that prevents drowsiness.

Restorative Items

Azusa has gotten her hands on a fair bit of minor restorative items, which can heal people from the brink of death.

Magical Wand

A wand that was rented to make Shalsha happy about her burning up all of her mana to kill Azusa. This wand has 150 different spells pre-packaged into it, and includes fire, ice, wind, levitation, defensive, and healing magic.

Invincibility Potatoes

Potatoes that Wynona achieved to be scattered in her dungeons as a result of her trading and becoming the Dungeon Master. Eating these grants a temporary invulnerability effect that nullifies enemy attacks.

Abilities

Witch Physiology

Azusa is a witch and an adventurer. Due to this, she gains quite a few perks that help her in her day-to-day life. For being an adventurer, she gains experience when killing monsters which allows her to accumulate spells and skills over time passively, as well as increase her statistics over time.

As a witch, she was given a body that could infinitely circulate mana, which gives her both immortality and immunity to disease. She also has inherent knowledge of medicine and herbs, and is capable of using them to cure plagues and diseases to help other people.

Divine Witch Physiology

Azusa once accompanied Goodly Godly Godness on a meeting with Nintan. It didn’t go too well, and it ended up with a battle between the two goddesses, almost ending in Nintan’s victory. However, Azusa stepped in to defend Godness from her rival, and seeing such a virtuous act, Godness awarded her with a Gold Virtue Stamp Card, which ascended her to a level of godhood.

An unprecedented miracle in the realm of godhood. Azusa’s stats all increase significantly, breaking past the original level cap and allowing her to blitz and restrain Nintan with ease. She is so powerful, Nintan is described as "hardly moving at all" from her perspective.

However, she gained more than just a simple statistical increase from this. Azusa, becoming close to god, has begun to work on an entirely different set of rules from the normal world. When time stopped, Azusa was able to move due to being able to escape time, akin to the goddesses. Her body can function even without her heart beating, or her functions persisting due to its different logic, and essentially becoming a massless, substanceless form as a result. Her moving is less “moving” her body, and more like placing her body at different points in the world on an entirely different logic much akin to the Goddesses.

Spell Creation

Easily Azusa’s most powerful ability in her arsenal. Spell Creation is an incredibly high-level advanced ability that allows Azusa to create new spells at her will. Azusa’s version of this is unprecedented, and due to being a witch of the highest calibre, she can create spells with no known basis. Though, it is significantly easier if she has a basis to work with. Azusa is also capable of making up spells on the fly, putting into use their effects instantly.

The limits of this ability are undefined, and obviously cannot be extracted into literal omnipotence. But with the given evidence and Azusa’s own power level, it is likely that Azusa can at least replicate the effects of any magic shown in the Slime300-verse with this spell. Thus, all potential abilities that can be granted by Spell Creation that Azusa does not directly demonstrate or get through a summon will be listed under this section.

Language Comprehension

Azusa can translate languages with a spell upon seeing them, making communication significantly easier across cultural barriers.

Ice and Snow Spell

Azusa is capable of using ice magic to freeze things solid. She has used this to freeze large bodies of water, as well as enemies. Her ice is capable of withstanding significant heat, such as when she froze the fire-breathing Laika’s mouth solid.

Magic Copying

Azusa is prodigiously skilled at learning magic. She only needs to see the spell once in order to be able to copy it intuitively, as seen when she copied an adventurer’s whirlwind spell or Beelzebub’s summoning spell.

Whirlwind Spell

A powerful spell that creates a massive tornado. Her tornadoes are so powerful, it can send people flying off into the distance with a single cast.

Flame Magic

Azusa is capable of creating flames that can burn foes. These flames are hot enough to clash with the frigid cold breath of the Blue Dragons, whose breath is powerful enough to freeze over entire forests. Other characters have been able to use these flames to conjure up protective walls.

Detoxify

A spell that can remove poisons from one’s body upon touch. It is capable of healing the effects of poison mushrooms and aphrodisiacs.

Forcefield Creation

A spell that Azusa created which can make a shield over an entire village. She can imbue various properties into the forcefield, such as having it detect evil hearts and binding those with malicious intent, or repelling certain kinds of people. It can also electrocute people to near-death.

Levitation Spell

Azusa is capable of flying off the ground with her levitation spell. It essentially grants her freeform 3-dimensional movement in the air.

Recovery Magic

Due to nobody in her house knowing Recovery Magic, she brute forced it with Spell Creation and is capable of healing people from near-death to full health with it. Other demons that are capable of using healing magic can restore creatures from being smashed into bits.

Summoning

Azusa has multiple spells which are capable of summoning various characters she meets. The most notable ones are Beelzebub, Misjantie, and Caven. Goodly Godly Goddess is also capable of being summoned if Azusa calls for her.

Lightning Magic

While she rarely uses this due to the difficulty in adjusting the power on it, Lightning is one of Azusa’s strongest attacks. It casts a lightning bolt that is many times more powerful than her usual spells, and can potentially kill others if she is not careful.

Dress Creation For Ghosts

Ghosts naturally have their clothes as apart of their very spirit, making it hard for them to change. Azusa got around this by using Spell Creation, which let her manipulate Rosalie’s soul into a different shape, giving her the dress that she desired. This specific spell functions as a strengthening of Rosalie's mental image of herself. Though, it is likely she can manipulate souls directly as well, but didn’t do it out of fear of hurting Rosalie.

Transformation Magic

A kind of magic that allows the user to transform themselves and others into other shapes. Other witches and slimes are capable of using these to take on the form of other people, and Azusa also has it listed in her abilities.

Shockwave Creation

Azusa is powerful enough that even her physical blows can send massive shockwaves in a battle. These can blow enemies back and damage them.

Slime Intimidation Aura

Due to having killed so many slimes in her life, Azusa has an aura of bloodlust around her that strikes fear into the heart of slimes. This can cause intelligent slimes to collapse and give up on the spot.

Waterspout Magic

Azusa can use magic to create water, which she generally uses for household chores and cleaning. It is quite convenient, though the water is warm. One of her daughters, Wynona, has been able to alter the spell so that the water is boiling hot.

Extrasensory Perception

Azusa is capable of seeing Misjantie while she is trying to make herself invisible. This is a result of her very high level.

Break Spell

The ability to dispel other forms of magic, whether it be barriers or curses. It essentially acts as a nullification that can remove various negative effects on the target.

Enhanced Hearing

Azusa’s stats are so high that her senses are sharpened too, and she can hear conversations that normal people wouldn’t be able to hear.

Instinctive Slime Reaction

Azusa has killed so many slimes that she has gotten accustomed to the way slimes move, and as a result has developed a skill that allows her to instinctively dodge and attack slimes without trying. This instinct is so great, that it works even when she is getting blitzed.

Invisibility

Out of curiosity on what Beelzebub was doing at work, Azusa developed an invisibility spell that can completely hide her physical presence. It even makes her hidden to Beelzebub, who can see invisible things like ghosts.

Teleportation

Azusa can quickly teleport short distances on the fly. This allows her to mix up her movement and outmaneuver enemies while fighting.

Meteormeteor Spell

While in Goodly Godly Godness’ training program, Azusa learned an Ultimate Skill for her class, which was the Meteormeteor spell. It’s a powerful explosion-based spell that can wipe out a large group of enemies at once though she can only use it a few times.

Other Abilities

There are some abilities that Azusa is stated to have, but never has actually needed to put them to use. Whether it be due to moral reasons, or just the opportunity never arising.

  • Mind Control: Presumably allows her to control the minds of people, though the potency of this is unknown.
  • Item Appraisal: Allows her to appraise items, determining what their value and usage is. Helpful for marketing.
  • Mana Absorption: Allows her to absorb mana. It is unknown how this is used, but it might be able to drain mana from others.
  • Reflect Spell: Presumably allows her to reflect magical attacks back at an enemy.
  • Earthquake: Presumably allows Azusa to cause an earthquake with her magic.

Witchcraft Abilities

These are abilities from the Slime300 Idle Gacha RPG Witchcraft. Essentially, Azusa ate a mushroom from Halkara that reduced her level back down to 1. As a result, she had to grind in order to get back to Lv. 99, and also learn a bunch of new abilities along the way. Most of these abilities are taken from the descriptions of the skills.

Resistances

Transformations

Fox Azusa

After being tricked by Pecora for her birthday, Azusa temporarily became a fox. She has an unending craving for abura-age and an enhanced sense of smell. Though, she cannot really control her body in this form.

Child Azusa

Azusa has been transformed into a child more than once, and she’s just the cutest thing in the world while in this form.

Cat Azusa

After getting her soul merged with a cat, Azusa attained cat ears for a temporary amount of time. She also gained multiple behavioral instincts of a cat, making her even more of a nuisance to her family.

Cute Abyss

Upon the release of Dekyari’tosde, a “demigod” was released above the ground beside her. This demigod, named Proti’pyutan and shaped suspiciously like a penguin, wanted to convert more people into followers of their religion. Azusa caught on, but against her will, she was transformed into the Magical Guru Cute Abyss.

Magical Gurus are priests meant to spread the word of their religion, though Azusa isn’t particularly interested in doing so. She gained some new abilities, such as shooting arrows and granting life to objects that did not previously have any. Azusa can control what these summons do, and also take its life away. She also gets significantly enhanced magic and physical resistance, even on top of her already overpowered stats.

Summons

Beelzebub

One of Azusa’s most reliable allies, Beelzebub is the Minister of Agriculture of the Demon Kingdom and known as The Lord of the Flies. She was a former bottom-tier bureaucrat for 1500 years of her life, before a sudden promotion by the Demon King Provato Pecora Aries skyrocketed her into a position of nobility and authority. As a result, she has trained long and hard into becoming one of the most powerful beings in the Demon Kingdom.

She is proficient in hand-to-hand combat and physically strong as well as use the wings on her back to fly. Beelzebub is also quite capable in magic, being able to transform between her humanoid and fly forms on a whim, using ice and fire magic, purifying and dispelling barriers and curse magic that can immobilize and drain enemies.

As a demon, she can also sense and exorcise incorporeal beings like ghosts, and physically grapple with them. Ghosts are invisible to even Azusa, who can already sense invisible spirits.

During one of Goodly Godly Godness’ training excursions, Beelzebub was selected to have the cleric class, which allowed her to resurrect and heal fallen allies as well as instantly kill an enemy.

Goddesses

Azusa has gotten in touch with the pantheon of her world on multiple occasions, and as a result is quite familiar with them. She has the direct ability to contact two of them in particular and telepathically discuss with them, though both in differing ways. Goodly Godly Godness and Caven are the two gods she can generally go to and ask for support whenever she pleases.

Gods are incredibly powerful and immortal beings that can control the logic and laws of the planet. They can govern and determine the makeup of worlds, warping space and creating worlds if they want to. They are also incorporeal beings who can choose to take physical form at their whims, and exist in a separate space that is infinitely overlapped with the normal world, but just misaligned so that they can see the world but the world cannot interact with them. This even includes spirits and ghosts, the latter of whom are naturally incorporeal. It is naturally difficult to damage a god, because they do not necessarily have a true appearance. They are not bound by the world’s logic, such as time, as a result and can generally appear wherever they want to in said world.

Goodly Godly Godness, or the Megamega God is the original deity that reincarnated Azusa into her new life, though her authority has been downgraded since then. She is still very powerful however, just lacking in authority to overrule other Goddess decisions and also quite a careless ditz. Godness still has a very notable dominion over souls, as she was capable of giving Azusa her physical body and powers at the start, as well as transporting souls to other worlds like she did with Halkara’s. Godness also has dominion over time, being able to rewind, warp others age and size, and undo time stops as she pleases. She can curse others, shoot people to the moon, and drag the moon down onto the Earth at her full capacity. Godness is also the most active creator of worlds out of the gods, and they take on various forms. She can  set up and manipulate concepts in the world, drag people’s spirits into them during their dreams, and all of her worlds work on their own set of (generally game-like) rules.

Caven is the God of Fate. Azusa encounters her and can enter her domain through a very complicated ritual involving a large number of steps and turning in specific directions. However, entering her domain is much simpler in of itself, as Caven only needs to sense the intent, and it does not have to actually be precise. Caven, as her title implies, is in charge of managing the fate of this world, though the world itself isn’t deterministic. Instead, she can manipulate events to make them more or less likely depending on how she sees fit. This can extend to instantly killing opponents with 'Inevitable Fate', as well as analyzing the grounds of fate for any abnormalities. Caven also has access to a variety of godly artifacts, like the Philosopher’s Stone which can revive the dead, or the Horn of the Apocalypse which can destroy the world with a single blow.

Misjantie

The Spirit of Pine Trees, Azusa has the ability to call for her whenever she deems necessary (though the location she appears in near Azusa is random). Originally a spirit that hosted weddings in her own temple, she fell on hard times until Azusa hosted a wedding for her slime daughters, Falfa and Shalsha, and spread the good word of her name. She would then become one of Azusa’s most trusted associates, taking over the highly popular cafe chain The Witch House Cafe, and turning a profit every day.

Misjantie, as a spirit, can turn invisible and teleport short distances as she pleases. As the spirit of Pine Trees, she also has control over the growth of pine trees and can even curse others with pine-related misfortunes. She also eventually became the Spirit of Bamboo as well, allowing her to control the growth of bamboo, growing an entire forest in under a day. Misjantie also has the ability to somewhat predict the future, using it to guarantee successes at her restaurants and guess the likelihood of marriage.

Feats

Strength

Durability

Speed

Scaling

Dragons

Azusa is significantly stronger than Laika and Flatorte, who are respectively the strongest dragons in their tribe. They can also consistently keep up with other dragons in the Dragon King competition.

Demons

Azusa has beaten both Pecora and Beelzebub without much effort, who are some of the strongest demons in the entirety of the Demon Realm. Thus, she should easily scale above any feats they perform.

Gods

Upon Azusa’s ascension to godhood, she was capable of easily beating Nintan without putting too much effort. Nintan was capable of clashing with Goodly Godly Godness, making Azusa significantly more powerful than either god at this point.

Weaknesses

Azusa is deathly allergic to conflict, and that leads to her not having a large amount of combat experience. Her first instinct in a lot of situations is to figure out how to avoid the problem before it happens. In a lot of cases, she would rather be literally anywhere else doing anything else rather than engaging in a prolonged fight due to her laziness. This doesn’t mean that she is cowardly, and she will stand up and fight for her family if she needs to, but this leads her to not wanting to fight much besides monsters.

This also leads to her mindset being less than optimal for combat, as she will try to finish battles in the simplest way possible. Since magic generally takes slightly more effort than physical attacks, this means  her go-to is attempting to overwhelm the enemy with brute force rather than putting in effort with her powers. Due to her overwhelming superiority over the rest of the verse, it hasn’t been an issue so far. However, due to her fighting style having a lot of openings, it is possible for a comparable opponent to take advantage of those.

She is also pretty scared of ghosts.

Before the Verdict

Worlds

You might've noticed some feats were labeled as "universal" and "multiversal" despite the word "World" being used. Yeah, TenSura is one of those verses where it has different meanings depending on the context. Since it's important in regards to the stats of Rimuru and the True Dragons, let's look at how it's likely referring to things on a cosmic scale.

Fuse was asked back in 2015 what he means when he says “world”, and if it means planet, or the dimension containing the universe. Fuse responded by saying he means dimension.

There also exists “dimensional barriers” between the worlds, with each world having its own unique time flow and timeline. While traveling to different worlds, Velgrynd also says they have their own dimension and timeline, and says these are parallel worlds, confirming the existence of a multiverse.

While in Subspace, Yuuki observes “rainbow colored spheres”, and refers to them as “one world, one universe”. Subspace is the realm between all dimensions, transcending time and is absent of magicules.

Some of Rimuru's subordinates that he'd leant a portion of Nihility Collapse to have statements about being able to destroy the “world” as well. This would at absolute minimum be referring to them destroying the universe, since Nihility Collapse is what Veldanava, its original user, used to make the multiverse, albeit not all at once. The Cardinal World was the first world/universe he created, and other universes were born from the Cardinal World, branching off from it at faster than light speeds.

In volume 21, Rimuru is BFR-ed so far into the future, that all stars have long since gone through their natural life spans, and the expansion of space has ended because of the law of entropy. However, due to Nihility Collapse accumulating energy over time, he'd grown much more powerful as a result, and can recreate the world tens of thousands of times. “World” meaning planet doesn't make sense here, given even if Rimuru recreated the planet and all his friends, it wouldn't even be habitable in the first place. So this feat should be at least twenty thousands of times multiversal. This is also backed up in volume 23, given that Rimuru was capable of matching the verse creator Veldanava, and the World Destroyer Ivarage, both who can threaten the multiverse, and their combined might after Ivarage absorbed Veldanava and became Luvelge. This feat can be interpreted even higher though assuming this is referring to the multiverse being recreated tens of thousands of times instead of just the Cardinal universe, which is likely. Let's talk about Luvelge before getting into that.

While preparing her strongest attack, its stated that Luvelge was gonna destroy “the entire world across all dimensions”, with world in this context clearly referring to the entire multiverse as opposed to a singular planet or universe. It also contained enough power to destroy the world “many times” over. This would also include the Otherworld, a realm that's been mentioned to be vast enough to contain countless universes multiple times. This isn't the first time that “world” was used to refer to the multiverse either. Rimuru speculated that the Voice of the World likely isn't unique to the Cardinal World given he'd heard it in his original world while he was dying, which, as mentioned earlier, is confirmed by Velgrynd’s travels across the multiverse and encountering other magic users. The Voice of the World (also known as the World Language), to briefly explain it, is a law created by Veldanava that speaks within the consciousness of individuals during important events, such as getting a new ability, or evolving. So despite being called the Voice of the World, it clearly isn't localized to a single planet or universe. Another instance is when Rimuru said that Rudra's soul was scattered across the “world”, which was in fact the multiverse, as Velgrynd traveled to many universes to find and retrieve all the pieces.

So, going back to Rimuru's feat of being able to recreate the “world”, assuming it's referring to the multiverse: there's stated to be 3,000 worlds/universes in the verse, and if he can recreate all of them tens of thousands of times… well just a simple 3,000 × 20,000 and that'd be 60,000,000 universal. Pretty high into multiversal. If accepted, this would still be somewhat of a low ball though, given some universes in TenSura are larger than our IRL equivalent, and between the Cardinal World being the first universe that Veldanava created and all all universes constantly expanding at faster than light speeds, it'd have to be huge. We don't know how big the Cardinal World is unfortunately since it's never stated, although while probably not as big as the Otherworld (something entirely different from the 3000 worlds/universes that are supposed to be equivalent to ours), should be more durable than it since the Cardinal World is stated to be the strongest and most durable dimension, so any feats that involve threatening the Cardinal World would technically require low multiversal energy as opposed to baseline universal since it'd be harder to destroy than the Otherworld. Something to clarify here is that True Dragons and those comparable to them aren't on par with Rimuru when tapping into the full power of Nihility Collapse, so it's a bit harder to put them at thousands of times multiversal since it's a bit unclear if their world destroying statements are referring to them destroying the entire multiverse as opposed to singular universes.

And since we're aware of certain claims that have been going around about the verse not having a multiverse, then on top of the various statements from Velgrynd traveling to parallel universes and Veldanava creating a multiverse, here's the series’ creator Fuse also saying the verse has parallel dimensions to add on to those.

Ramiris’ Labyrinth

Ramiris' labyrinth was created using her skill, Small World, an ability she inherited from Veldanava after he lost his status as a god. As shown in multiple sections, it serves as both a dungeon for adventurers to take on the monsters guarding each floor, providing entertainment for the audience viewing this, and is an impenetrable area whenever an army is invading Tempest due to Ramiris always instantly reviving allies that die within its depths.

Since some characters have feats of affecting the labyrinth, let's go over how this scales and the nature of it. The labyrinth has one hundred floors, and over the course of the story, the structure of the labyrinth changes, with each floor always changing in layout to throw off adventures from memorizing the floors. There isn't a limit to how many floors this skill can create, with the “100 floors” just being the max that Ramiris can create up to with the amount of magicules she possesses. One floor, the 95th, was shown to have both a “starry sky” and a moon. However, due to this floor never being affected, as well as the sizes of each floor constantly changing, relying on sizes of floors isn't the optimal route. Instead, we'll focus on the durability that the floors have.

Interestingly enough, it's stated that each floor can isolate dimensions, and Veldora says even he'd struggle to defeat it, being capable of only destroying a floor or two, and Velgrynd could only destroy 50 floors of it despite her might. While "dimensions" would be vague on its own, this seems to be in reference to how there are dimensional walls between universes, supporting a cosmic interpretation for the durability of each floor. Remember when we said that warping between universes is difficult due to the user needing to perform complex calculations and the dimensional barriers between worlds make it difficult to do so (reposting it)? Well, Ramiris’ labyrinth is described similarly. While teleporting outside of the labyrinth is simple enough, teleporting inside of it is extremely difficult due to the coordinates constantly changing. The labyrinth even has an area called the Labyrinth Prison, modeled after the “Secret of the Infinite Corridor”, which was stated to literally be an endless loop, a space with no up or down, and requires complex calculations to escape due to the spatial coordinates always changing. Secret of the Infinite Corridor is an imperfect imitation of Ramiris’ own skill. For further support, Small World is equal in power to the Holy Relics created by Veldanava, items made to protect the Cardinal World from being destroyed, and can withstand attacks from True Dragon level beings, and tank a Drago Nova from Milim. The Phantom King Feldway, who's powerful enough to destroy the universe of the Key World/Cardinal World, was also unable to destroy any of the Holy Relics on his own, and True Dragons are comparable to him. All this together solidly establishes the floors having comic level durability.

And if you already believe the True Dragons are at least of universal power like we do based on the multiple statements about them being able to destroy “worlds”, that'd further support the floors of Ramiris' labyrinth having universal durability, so Velgrynd destroying 50 floors simultaneously would get the True Dragons and those comparable to them at 50x universal.

Infinite Speed Digital Lifeforms

The nature of information particles was touched on in the Terminology section, but let's address how they tie into infinite speed for Digital Lifeforms since it's the main argument for the verse having non finite speeds. Information particles are unaffected by space and time, and for Digital Lifeforms to interact with each other, they have to imprint their will on information particles and send it to the other party, with this occurring with "no time lag”, effectively even having instantaneous conversations. In the scan here, there's a lag from Rimuru's perspective since he isn't a Digital Lifeform yet, hence why he can't move and is affected by the time stop of the Suspended World, so he's still taking finite time to process the information despite being able to interfere with information particles. Information particles have a constant speed, and the information transfer between the particles exceeds even light speed, and is again said to occur with "zero time difference" and "regardless of how far they are from each other.” This ties back into Digital Lifeforms, who are Spiritual Lifeforms that can turn their entire existence purely into information particles. Battles between Digital Lifeforms are determined by who has the better control over info particles and can outperform the other, and since the particles have a "fixed maximum value", this would require both sides to be reacting to the information transfer of the particles, which is consistently stated to be "instant" and with "zero time lag.”

To address any potential counterarguments, one would likely bring up this scan from volume 23, where Rimuru is surprised he can move at FTL speeds in the Suspended World. This is seemingly a case of PIS, because fights in stopped time don't occur by physical movements. To put this perspective since we're sure this is hard to follow: Digital beings exist purely as information particles, and to even “see” in the Suspended World, one has to reflect the information particles off each other. As stated earlier, conversations also occur by both parties imprinting their will on surrounding particles and “hitting” the target with it, transferring the information between the particles. That's also how the fights occur, with the intent of attacks being embedded in the particles, and hitting the target with them, with the information transferring between the particles. Another interesting thing is that the speed of light in Slime isn't constant, which is stated by Ciel, who'd be a credible source due to being one of the smartest characters in the verse, if not the smartest, so it'd just be…well any speed. Of course, we won't say the cast is MFTL or anything like that based on such a concept. Since we have in verse values for what that'd imply, with that seemingly being infinite based on the speed statements about info particles, you'd just use those.

Another potential counterargument one may bring up is that information particles are just teleporting to each other during fights, but this also isn't the case. This was already mentioned in the Ultimate Slime section regarding Spatial Motion/Spatial Transfer during time stops, but teleporting is already mentioned as its own separate thing from how information particles interact, and most notably, “moving” normally for Digital Lifeforms is considered faster than teleporting.

We'd lean towards infinite speed being fine, but it won't be used for conservative sake going into the verdict though, as we want to determine the verdict with the more “agreeable” stats. Although, if you accept that information particles move around at infinite speed, then only those who can transform themselves into Digital Lifeforms would scale to this. “Ordinarily”, light speed in Tensura is impossible to reach due to the inverse law that light speed can't be reached physically, though some characters can “see” attacks moving that fast, and some abilities like Disintegration, Meltslash, Megiddo, etc have attack speeds reaching that. Rimuru was able to “see” light speed attacks with Thought Acceleration when he became an Ultimate Slime, and could cast spells at that speed, though still couldn't physically move that fast.

But uhh yeah basically tldr if you accept infinite speed for information particles:

Rimuru’s thinking speed would be infinite while Emergency Response is activated since he can perceive and interfere with information particles and cast magic abilities at this speed, though physically he'd still be relativistic.

Thinking speed and movement for all Digital Lifeforms would be infinite. Usually, those who can transform into Digital beings don't transform their existence into one unless the Suspended World is active, which is likely because, as mentioned in the terminology section, existing without a physical body in the Cardinal World heavily drains energy, which doesn't seem to apply in the Suspended World.

Goodly Godly Godness’ Slime World

The best feat in the Slime300 series isn’t particularly straightforward, but it is a very notable aspect of the debate to cover. One day, Goodly Godly Godness got bored and decided to begin making a world of her own. This world contained only slimes, so she brought it to Azusa and her family to check it out.

They agreed, heading into the slime world where they became slimes. Soon, they merged with each other and all the other slimes in the world to become the entire world. They then threatened to escape their world, and consume all of the other worlds and eventually the entire universe if they were left unchecked.

So, the first thing with this feat. Is it real? Most likely. While she does describe it as VR, Godness tends to describe the abilities of the Goddess in incredibly mundane and human-like terms. The details she describes when making the world are as a pocket world with its own makeup and lifeforms involved. The characters enter this world spiritually, most likely akin to the other worlds that Godness has made, which are pretty directly described as spiritual locations, and Godness has already shown dominion over souls. It is likely that these worlds are at least “real” pocket dimensions in some sense, rather than being entirely fictional. There is also the fact that the slime breached the edge of the world and was going to jump into the normal universe. Thus, this slime was most likely a physical threat to consider.

Second, the scaling. This is very straightforward. Godness made the entire world, including all of the slimes in it. Caven states in no uncertain terms that a God will always be superior to their creations, and that they will never become a God’s equal. Thus, Godness would scale above the slime’s potential, and Azusa would too, as Nintan was capable of battling Godness who was using 80% of her power. Since Azusa could essentially statue and one-shot Nintan upon her ascension into godhood, Azusa should be way above Godness at this point.

Third, how high is this feat? Well, it is at bare minimum universal, as the Japanese text states that the entire universe was going to be destroyed. But, the method of destruction might make this feat far more impressive than it seems. The slime’s entire purpose was to become "one and all", to reach a point of "immobility" where the only thing that existed was the slime, including the ground and the sky. Essentially, becoming one with the entire universe and making it so that everything was just one big slime.

This would require a substantial amount of mass-energy to achieve, due to the fact that slimes are 99% water. It makes it pretty clear that the end goal would involve everything in existence just being one big slime. So if you calculate the mass-energy required for a slime to become as big as the universe, that would require a mass-energy three nonillion times the mass-energy of our own universe. However, obviously a lot of this is inference, and going for the Universal low-end is still a reasonable take. For the purposes of this blog however, we will be treating this as a Multiversal feat.

Starfall Destruction

The gacha game has this skill which is stated to “draw a celestial body with powerful mana and crash it into the ground”. This celestial body is most likely referring to a star, considering the name. This would be an excellent speed and power feat for Azusa if it weren’t for one thing.

It’s locked behind a lot of grinding, like a lot. In order to achieve this skill to see the animation for it, one would have to become one of the top players in the entire world at the game. There are also no archives of this skill’s animation online or anywhere to be found. This is quite frankly not feasible for the blog, but we have decided to include this skill anyways for posterity’s sake. However, this section is just here to acknowledge that it is completely fine to discard this skill if you so please, because of the complete lack of information surrounding it.

Azusa has better strength scaling, but the star would be the best speed feat that the verse would have, ballparking to around 26 million times the speed of light. So, it could be a pretty notable upgrade if you bought the high-end but for the purposes of this blog, due to its inaccessibility and as a result the vagueness that results from using such a thing, it will NOT be used.

Verdict

Power

Let’s first discuss strength, and the sheer amount of power these overleveled protagonists are up to. At a glance, it seems like Rimuru has this in spades. He has a lot more direct feats and scaling to pull from even in his earlier forms, especially with the multiple, consistent claims of him or people he’s far superior to being able to destroy “worlds”, which are at minimum planets and most likely entire universes. However, his highest scaling comes from the End of Series, and especially with Nihility Collapse.

With Nihility Collapse, Rimuru has been stated to be able to recreate the world tens of thousands of times over, which in context clearly means at least a universe. This gives a minimum of 20,000x Universal for the absolute lowball of his power. This level of power is consistently backed up, with Luvelge’s statement of “destroying the world across all dimensions” and Veldanava creating the entire multiverse, then this is obviously an incredibly powerful feat. But that’s not all.

Due to the, let’s say, inconsistent definition of the term “world” in TenSura, one can make this feat go a lot higher than it seems. If one were to assume that Rimuru was recreating the entire multiverse “tens of thousands of times over”, the stated amount of worlds in TenSura is 3,000. Multiply that by 20,000 and you have a staggeringly high 60,000,000x Universal. Incredibly far into multiversal.

So that’s a lot. How does Azusa compare? Well, at a glance, her series is much lower scale and has way lower stakes. Feats like the Leviathans destroying mountains and Flatorte freezing a country, while obviously quite impressive, pale in comparison to that number. But, Azusa is a God-level being, and thus would scale to her own divine pantheon. Even still, while Gods do have statements of destroying the world, similar to Rimuru’s own, it obviously isn’t enough to beat Rimuru’s own feat.

There is still one though, and that’s Goodly Godly Godnesses’ World-Devouring Slime. Gods are stated to always be above their creations, no matter what, and this is further supported by Godness’ personal blase attitude towards the idea of the Slime breaking free and becoming one with the universe. Thus, cementing her superiority over her own creation. Now, a universe-sized slime is obviously at minimum universal, but if you were to actually calculate the mass needed for a slime to be that big, it would be over three nonillion times more massive than our own universe. Comparing that to Rimuru’s own number, that would make Azusa over fifty sextillion times stronger! Smashing past Rimuru’s own number by leaps and bounds.

This base disparity is so significant that Azusa is always likely to be physically stronger at any point in the fight, and as a result this category ends up surprisingly going to Azusa Aizawa.

Speed

Now getting into speed, both Rimuru and Azusa would scale to everything both their verses have to offer. Early in his series as a Slime, Rimuru was already capable of reaching speeds in the supersonic range. Not only did he state he can react this fast, but it's further supported by his flight speed being stated to go past the speed of sound, and he later states he can break sound. His speed would only improve the more he evolved. After becoming a Demon Slime, he was able to move in tandem with the Trinity Disintegration, a light speed attack, with this getting into the sub relativistic range. And as an Ultimate Slime, he can "see" attacks that can move at the speed of light and extend one second to ten whole years, clocking a lil over baseline FTL, though he still can't physically move that fast. It's not until he transforms into a Digital Lifeform that he can move at FTL speeds, due to the information transfer between information particles surpassing light.

Azusa herself has some impressive speed she'd scale to. She's consistently stated to move at speeds that it’s difficult for most to even visually track her, from her battle with Beelzebub being difficult for the eye to see, to dashing between a bunch of adventurers before they could even react to her. After ascending to godhood, Azusa would upscale the feats performed by her fellow gods due to easily dispatching Nintan, who could fight on par with Goodly Godly Godness. Godness can launch people to the moon at speeds ranging from 1.2c-2.6c, and Nintan, who Azusa saw as barely moving after becoming a god herself, could search Nanterre in 30 minutes, hitting 7.6%c - 47%c.

So, Rimuru's 1.05c vs Azusa's 1.2c-2.6c. Very small gap in favor of Azusa. However, both would upscale this baseline. Rimuru being able to react that fast was immediately after he became an Ultimate Slime. He didn't even have access to Nihility Collapse at the time, which he can circulate into himself to boost his speed. And as established, he's constantly growing more powerful, with this most notably occurring during his fights against Veldanava and Ivarage. His growth rate not only left Veldanava baffled, but he was even growing at such a speed that Ivarage, another being with her own incredible reactive growth, couldn't keep up with Rimuru, and her reactive evolution would stack on Rimuru's own after absorbing her. The Ultimate Skill Susanoo can also amplify his stats further.

Azusa would also upscale her FTL end by quite a lot since she could blitz Nintan, who could match Godness. Azusa also has plenty of speed amps from the gacha, such as Dragon Dash, Martial Overpower, and passive skills that further boost her speed from her different classes.

As such, since the gap between their FTL ends is incredibly small, both upscale by a lot, and having abilities that make themselves even faster with no clear edge, we deem speed a tie.

Versatility

As far as versatility goes, both Rimuru and Azusa, of course, have a looooooot given they hail from stories of isekai-ing to another world and reaching a god level status, so them being cracked in powers is a packaged deal.

Azusa has equipment with a plethora of effects, such as Pecora's Gifts, which can do things like turn mountains into volcanoes, and call forth a blizzard. She also has a wand that comes equipped with a whopping 150 spells, and invincibility potatoes for temporary immunity to attacks. So by no means nothing to scoff at in overall equipment.

All this isn't even getting into Azusa's innate abilities. She can manipulate all natural elements be it air, earth, water, or fire to create tornadoes made of air or water, cause earthquakes, and shoot fireballs. Ice magic to freeze targets, flight, lightning blasts, teleportation, create force fields, turn invisible, and mind control others. There's also the incredibly powerful Meteormeteor, which can instantly wipe out multiple enemies. And as god, should be able to similarly warp laws and logic and control space like her fellow goddesses.

This goes even further when including RPG Witchcraft, giving Azusa many status effect buffs to boost her power and speed passively from the different classes the game has to offer. She even gets some AoE capabilities that can be applied with fire, earth, energy blasts, or ice. She gets some status effect inducement such as restricting enemy movement by binding them, sealing off their powers, applying poison, or debuffing their stats. And to top this off, Azusa can also just create any ability she wants at will with Spell Creation to add on to the many she already has. She certainly lives up to her status as a goddess.

Buuuuuuut Rimuru can replicate most of what Azusa can do and then some, and the way his power system is designed makes what he does more esoteric in nature, since the magic in his verse is literally warping laws to a conceptual level, altering the fabric of existence. His Law Domination alone lets him alter all 8 attributes to bring about phenomena, and Shuna, a user of the inferior ability Control Laws, could use it to warp the natural attributes and wrestle away Adalmann's control over spiritual elements by overwriting his magic and casting holy magic. Rimuru himself has directly used it to split an entire lake in half, and manipulate inertia and heat quantities. He's shown not only to cast fire magic just like Azusa, but as done in other ways such as casting it on his sword to negate regenerative abilities, but also create flame barriers to entrap targets in burning them until nothing is left. With his control over the natural laws, he should be able to summon much more tornadoes than Azusa has shown just like his subordinate Ranga has, and can similarly freeze targets with Icicle Lance, or tap into Velzard's abilities, freezing all matter on a continental scale.

His barriers are also better defensively than what Azusa has been shown to create. Multilayer Barrier can have Rimuru's resistances applied to them to boost his resistances further, and both Castle Guard and his Multidimensional Barrier can't be broken by physical attacks due to them being superior to the Infinity Prison, something that can't be destroyed by conventional methods, with Castle Guard also just being able to nullify all the abilities in TenSura itself, sans another user of Castle Guard or Uriel.

As established earlier, he's always passively growing more powerful at such a rate that Luvelge, who also has a crazy reactive growth, couldn't keep up with Rimuru, and hers should stack on top of Rimuru's after he absorbed her. Tapping into Shion’s Ultimate Skill Susanoo also provides a large boost to stats, as Shion was able to push herself far beyond her existence value limit, and optimize herself to adapt to the Suspended World. Invincibility? Attacks bound by the laws of the world can't even reach Ultimate Skill users. Invisibility? Haze covers that and more, since Haze at max doesn't disturb the presence of magicules altogether, and the user's smell, sound, temperature, and spirit is suppressed, covering way more than Azusa's own invisibility spell.

He also has plenty of abilities that Azusa has no comparison to, such as Disintegration and Meltslash erasing both the body and soul and destroying the target on a conceptual level, Argos being able to fire sunlight from anywhere around the world from the stratosphere, accelerating life activity to speed up one's death and causing their magic to go haywire, teleportation across universes and dimensions, spatial and dimensional cutting, rewriting one's attributes, and multiple sealing and BFR options such as Tempter World and the Infinity Prison. He can manipulate fate itself to rewrite events or remove powers with Alter Destiny, manipulate causality with Susanoo, and compress gravity to result in an explosion that can affect the entire planet and smash anyone caught inside to dust with Gravity Collapse. Or look into alternate worlds to gain more information on how to best approach this fight just like how Veldanava was doing. There's also his absorption, which can ignore space and time altogether to absorb concepts, souls, and virtually any emission type ability. Even the nigh impenetrable Snow Crystal couldn't block Azathoth’s absorption. And lastly, Rimuru's most powerful ability, Nihility Collapse, which not only can be used to boost Rimuru's own stats, but can be used to create the multiverse, and is a very potent nonexistent erasure.

Like Azusa, he too can give himself more abilities with assistance from Ciel using Shub Niggurath, or modify his already existing powers.

While Azusa is by no means lacking in powers, and has so much that not many would be able to actually match her, Rimuru just happens to be in that percent who can since he not only can do most of what Azusa can, but can do so in broader ways, and has lots of abilities that Azusa herself hasn't shown, on top of his power system making his abilities more complex in nature, so ultimately, Rimuru Tempest takes versatility.

Experience

Experience and skill is a surprisingly valuable category here, so it would make sense to look at these two together to see how they stack up. Starting with Rimuru’s own skill and intelligence.

Rimuru is incredibly skilled, even just on his own. With his blade, Rimuru himself has matched sword masters such as Veldanava, who himself has surpassed swordsmen with over hundreds of years of knowledge of the blade. In battle, Rimuru shows no openings, showing complete control over defense and offense. He has been in a significant amount of battles, which have consistently pushed the usage of his abilities to their limit, forcing him to think quickly on his feet and control his powers with utmost precision. This is even further reinforced by his escapades into Ramiris’ Labyrinth, starting from the bottom once again to improve his skill from zero and crawling his way back to become a top adventurer on his own merits.

Rimuru is constantly using his intelligence in combat, but if you were to just look at Rimuru, then you would only be looking at one half of the equation. Let’s talk about Ciel. This little companion has come a long way from her start as the Great Sage, and has evolved alongside her master to become just as absurd. Even at a base level, she is capable of perfectly analyzing a target to give Rimuru perfect information, creating a parallel thought process that allows Rimuru to think essentially twice as efficiently compared to normal, and taking control of Rimuru’s body to use his abilities to perfect efficiency. She can create perfect simulations of battles, as well as explaining and preparing for all possible scenarios in a fight. The calculations she can do are so precise, that she can warp the very system that they participate in and create abilities to counter things that they haven’t seen before. With Ciel’s help, Rimuru is essentially a supercomputer that knows exactly what to do next to win.

So, how does Azusa stack up?

Not very well.

Azusa is over 300 years old, so you think she would have some experience under her belt. However, she didn’t really get into any scenarios that require serious combat until the series began, which only spans a few years. As the title implies, she maxxed out her level by killing slimes for 300 years, and none of the slimes that Azusa had faced over the 300 year period were any more than mere mindless mooks. So, any arguments for experience via an age gap are immediately null and void. So, what about actual demonstrable showings?

This is where things get worse for Azusa. While she does have a few battle-loving companions under her that she occasionally has to deal with, such as the dragons, she is only somewhat loosely comparable to them. She knows some basics of martial combat, and it lets her somewhat keep up with Beelzebub who as a powerful demon leader has been training her whole life. But, she also completely and utterly outstats Beelzebub at this point, so it’s clearly not one-to-one.

In fact, unlike Rimuru who shows no openings in his fighting style at all, Azusa is filled with openings. She is filled with so many openings that Beelzebub doesn’t know which one to attack, and a seasoned martial artist like Fighsly thinks she’s leaving weak points on purpose (she’s not). This is a direct result of Azusa simply never being threatened at a single point in her life. In essentially all fights she’s been in, she has solved the problem by simply punching or blasting her way through it. Even when she ascended to godhood, she beat Nintan by simply overpowering her rather than being forced to commit to any in-depth strategy at all. Being such a big fish in a small pond has its drawbacks, especially when it means that Azusa’s primary strategy in conflicts is either to avoid it completely or try to solve it in the most basic way possible. This doesn’t necessarily mean she wouldn’t use her more esoteric abilities if she was pushed to do so, however. When she loses her levels in the gacha, she does start to make use of her powers in ways that aren’t brute force against comparable enemies, but this is paltry compared to Rimuru’s own showings and this isn’t getting into the intelligence that Ciel herself is bringing to the battle.

So, not only does Rimuru completely outclass Azusa in terms of showings, statements, and feats, Azusa is actually fighting at a deficit in terms of combat ability. With very little experience in fighting people on her level, it’s likely that Rimuru would be the one taking initiative in any combat encounter. This inexperience makes Azusa knowing exactly what to do in what situation very unlikely, meanwhile Rimuru will always be one step ahead thanks to the supercomputer companion in his brain. By a landslide, this category goes to Rimuru Tempest.

Allies

Veldora, Velgrynd, Velzard, and Velgaia vs Beelzebub, Goodly Godly Godnes, Caven, and Misjantie. With both Rimuru and Azusa being able to summon powerful allies to assist them, which side is more likely to come out on top? There's a lot to unpack here given all the characters involved, so let's break it down.

Right off the bat, Beelzebub and Misjantie are just...kinda outclassed here. Stats wise, they don't scale to the highest of what Azusa's side has to offer, and Misjantie is the least combat oriented ally among her group. Even her pine related curses wouldn't pose a threat here, when all of the True Dragon siblings resist curses. Beelzebub, being the best fighter among the Slime300 side and equipped with some really good magic like curses, instant death, and reviving the dead, is far and away one of Azusa's greatest allies for this fight…on paper at least, with the main thing holding her back is she simply wouldn't last too long here. Not only are all her offensive hax resisted by the True Dragons, but skill wise, nearly all of them minus Velgaia noticeably have better combat feats and statements that contribute to them being among the best fighters in TenSura. Her revive magic can also be countered by Velzard activating the Suspended World, preventing Beelzebub from being able to use any healing and resurrection related spells. Or simply just being taken out since she doesn't have the stats to compete with the True Dragons.

From here, this is when things really get interesting. The goddesses vs the True Dragons is where the crux of this section lies. Caven and Godness are easily the most powerful two of Azusa's group, and as the gods of the verse, scale to everything that Azusa would scale to. Unlike Beelzebub and Misjantie, they even have the stats to hang with the True Dragons, with a huge AP advantage of 3 nonillion times multiversal vs 50x multiversal, and speed being 2.6c vs the True Dragons being at least FTL when transformed into Digital Lifeforms and relativistic when not transformed into one. So the Goddesses would hold a decent speed advantage initially, and only be matched once the True Dragon siblings decide to transform into digital beings.

Even with such a huge difference in AP, the True Dragons are absurdly hard to kill. Even completely annihilating their physical vessels wouldn't put them down since, as spiritual lifeforms, they can create a new body. And due to their True Dragon physiology, it goes a level beyond even that. Unlike other spiritual lifeforms, even destroying their heart core, something that is conceptual in nature and fundamentally exists beyond the spiritual and astral bodies, making it difficult to target in the first place, isn't enough to put them down. Now, ordinarily, destroying the heart core would count as a loss for Veldora, Velgrynd, and Velzard since even though they can revive from nothingness and conceptual destruction, their personalities are reset and they'd have holes in their memories, so if they're ever in a fight without Rimuru, that would just count as a loss for them. However, as that's not the case here, Rimuru has absorbed all three of their Dragon Factors, with their "true selves" existing inside of his Imaginary Space, and he can easily revive them with all their memories and personality intact. He also doesn't have a limit for this since between his Nihility supply and Primitive Magic, he has a literally infinite pool of energy to draw from.

Velgaia is definitely the “weak” link among Rimuru's allies. Her Dragon Factor has never been absorbed by Rimuru unlike her other siblings, so if her heart core somehow is destroyed, he'd be unable to respawn her, and since this would lead to her personality resetting despite being able to revive, she'd pretty much be out of the fight. She also noticeably has much less hax than the others and not nearly as much skill and experience in combat. Her being hard to put down regardless ultimately will keep her hanging though.

So, do Caven and Godness have a way to permanently put down the True Dragons? Looking over their abilities, no. Godness does have a few abilities that the True Dragons can't resist, like time reversal and size manipulation, although the former she's only shown to reverse a handful of seconds at most, which could certainly help when trying to put the dragons in a position to land hits on or be used defensively. Size manipulation, while it can't be resisted, the True Dragons lack an actual true appearance just like the goddesses, being able to take whatever physical form they desire by shapeshifting such as their dragon forms, so at most that would just be a minor convenience for them. Her abilities like age manipulation and cursing are entirely resisted though. They also resist attacks on their spiritual bodies, so she'd be unable to try and incapacitate them by sending their spirits elsewhere.

Next, going over Caven, even her incredibly powerful manipulation of fate is resisted. Masayuki's Chosen One explicitly doesn't work on those at the Ultimate Skill level, and its manipulation of fate and probability is just as good if not better than Caven's own, as it not only manipulates events to always make Masayuki appear as a hero, but also increases his own luck and the rate at which he can land critical attacks, and influences the thoughts and emotions of those around, making people idolize him and even want to join him. Her "Inevitable Fate" inflicting instant death also wouldn't work seeing as instant death is one of the Unique level abilities, such as Soei’s Shadow Strike, wouldn't affect Ultimate level users.

Ignoring all that, it's unlikely the goddesses can even target the heart core in the first place. While Godness has shown the ability to manipulate concepts, she's never outright been shown doing this in an offensive manner, so it's unlikely the True Dragon siblings will ever be put in a position where Rimuru would need to revive them himself.

Of course, all of this wouldn't matter much if the True Dragons didn't have a way to fight back, and they have a lot of hax that two goddesses have no answer for. The most noticeable is that Veldora, Velgrynd, Velzard, and Velgaia all have ways of inflicting existence erasure, something Caven and Godness don't resist. The dragons can do this simply by unleashing a huge amount of their magicules, which would prevent the goddesses from even being able to approach them. This isn't even including the Dragon Spirit Haki, which was capable of erasing Demon Slime Rimuru despite having resistance to EE at the time. All in all, if this ever happens, Caven and Godness would have no way to physically approach the True Dragons.

They have more than just that though. Veldora's Storm Magic has multiple effects such as corrosion, annihilation, and destruction, so he'd be hitting with a lot of side effects that ignore durability altogether with his basic attacks. And, when shown that his Death Calling Wind can destroy TenSura's equivalent of souls, we know he'd be attacking on the conceptual level, something else the goddesses don't resist.

Velgrynd also has multiple abilities that'd be detrimental for the two gods. She can imbue her attacks with Accelerated Destruction, causing their magic to go haywire and preventing them from using their hax entirely. It also speeds up life activity and destructive effects, so anything that Caven and Godness can't resist will have its effects sped up by this. With this being powerful enough to even affect the highly magic resistant spiritual lifeforms, it's unlikely they'd be able to resist this either. And of course, there's her strongest attack, Cardinal Acceleration, which forces a target into continuous acceleration after hit and leading to their thermal decay.

And then there's Velzard, who's potentially the most dangerous of Rimuru's allies. She can activate the Suspended World, which, while both Caven and Godness can resist the time stop aspect of this, they can't resist its unconventional power nulling, which would shut down their entire kit. Godness probably wouldn't be able to deactivate it as well, seeing as her magic would be frozen entirely. That, and other users of the Suspended World have never countered someone else using it by deactivating it themselves. Generally, the one who activated it has to end it, or be running low on magicules that they can't keep it running. That aside, it's unlikely the two goddesses would be able to approach Velzard or land a hit on her entirely. Between her Snow Crystal creating a barrier around herself that can nullify most magical attacks, including wavelengths and frequencies, and her Eternal World freezing information particles themselves, she's nigh untouchable here. Since she can "freeze" all life activity and stop matter in its current state, she can prevent both Caven and Godness from acting at all, effectively making it easy for the True Dragons to land a killing shot.

And lastly, another important element is the teamwork of both sides, with this also favoring the True Dragons. While Velzard and Velgrynd have an...odd way of showing it (cough they've "killed" Veldora occasionally cough), they all actually care about each other, having sibling love for one another. Velgrynd was actually furious when she thought Rimuru killed Veldora after absorbing him in volume 15. During the final battle of volume 23, while transformed into nucleus cores and inside of Rimuru's sword, they all perfectly coordinated with one another, fluently adjusting their power in sync with each other to match Rimuru's power output in the fight against Luvelge, who was threatening to destroy the very multiverse. So if push comes to shove, despite their complicated relationship, they'd put aside their differences to help each other pull through a particularly challenging obstacle.

Meanwhile, Azusa is friends with the Goddesses and does regularly call them for help, but their teamwork is a lot more scattered, so to speak. In solving minor problems, such as the everyday life issues, the Goddesses have been shown to help out Azusa when they can. But, these aren’t necessarily direct feats in combat. The most relevant time that Azusa and the goddesses had to work together was when they had to combat the elder god, Dekyari’tosde. Godness helped Azusa deflect one attack, before immediately giving up and relegating herself to moral support because she didn’t really feel like fighting further. So, in an actual high stakes battle, it’s not really certain that the Goddesses are really reliable allies in a fight. Even if we assume that they’re fully on-board and willing to help, they’re coordination would just be significantly worse than what the True Dragons are packing.

So with all this considered, the superior abilities and resistances, actual reliability in a battle, and combat experience of the True Dragons should outdo the strength advantage that the Goddesses have. Rimuru and the True Dragons should take this category handily.

Win Cons

Going into the final stretch, both their respective win cons, we'll break this down into five individual sections since there're some important points to address.

Can Azusa interact with Digital Nature?

As mentioned in the terminology section, digital lifeforms are spiritual lifeforms who've converted their entire existence into information particles, the building blocks of reality with a mass extremely close to zero. This makes it very hard to physically interact with them, and since Rimuru can convert himself into one, whether or not Azusa would still be able to meaningfully interact with him is important to make clear.

Surprisingly, we actually do believe she would be able to. Let's take a look at her Divine Witch physiology. After becoming a god, she became a substance with zero mass, and essentially “moves” by placing herself at different "points" in the world, with this being likened to placing one's self on a specific square in a chess, except doing so in the three dimensional world. This is very similar to how Digital Lifeforms "move", which is less physically moving and more so by imbuing their will and intent on surrounding information particles and making said particles collide with a target.

You can definitely debate if this is fully one to one enough to say Azusa can interact with digital lifeforms, though we'd lean towards it being fine.

Skill Creation vs Spell Creation

A very important part of both of these character’s powersets is that they can just create new abilities at will. Which means, one could say that they just create the perfect ability needed to win and use it. Rimuru’s Skill Creation and Azusa’s Spell Creation should both cancel out as a result of these arguments, generally leaving this win condition as not a massive factor in the debate.

Though, Rimuru’s method of making new spells is inarguably better than Azusa’s own. Both character’s creation of spells is a result of their own direct knowledge of how abilities in their worlds work, and while the Witch of the Highlands is very studied in magic and its mechanics, it’s nothing compared to the supercomputer that is Ciel.

Ciel not only works as a parallel thought process to Rimuru, but also lets him quickly analyze and determine what he needs to create in order to win. If the two were to get into an escalating battle of creating new abilities to counter the other, it would be hard to argue that Rimuru wouldn’t have a massive advantage. The information that he’d have on Azusa, and what would be required to counter her own creations would be constantly fed towards him as a result of Ciel’s analysis, meanwhile Azusa would have to completely figure it out on her own. There is also the fact that Ciel’s modifications on Rimuru’s abilities are generally more in-depth and detailed than what Azusa has done on her own. Thus, if it ever were to come down to it, Rimuru would be significantly better at forming these new abilities than Azusa is in order to win the fight, even if the high-end arguments cancel out.

Azusa’s Goddesses

A notable factor that Azusa has is her goddesses, which on the surface provide a lot of useful abilities that could potentially be threatening to Rimuru on paper. Soul manipulation, reality warping, space-time manipulation, conceptual manipulation, and logic manipulation are all abilities that the Goddesses are stated to have and have demonstrated in very casual manners.

Theoretically, some of these abilities could be used to get on more even footing with Rimuru especially stuff like their manipulation of logic and concepts… if there weren’t for a few pretty major caveats which prevent them from being proper strong arguments in this battle.

The first is, as mentioned in the allies section, the Goddesses are fairly unreliable and not always inclined to help Azusa out. Obviously, this doesn’t discount their ability to help entirely, but relying on them for anything makes using them as a win condition inconsistent at best, meaning that these abilities might not come into play depending on the scenario.

The second is simply, the Goddesses do not have very many demonstrations in combat. While they do have a lot of potentially very useful abilities, Rimuru has had active experience in countering a lot of these abilities in the past. He has managed to counter conceptual and information-based abilities before, such as Trinity Disintegration, which is an offensive application that the Goddesses have simply never shown the potency to match. The same could be said about skills like Multidimensional Barrier, which warps space and time to a degree that the Goddesses have never interacted with before. While it is arguable that their ability to exist on a different spatial realm could potentially bypass this, the lack of demonstrable showings make these arguments too dependent on interpretation to say that they can conclusively negate such an ability.

So, while the Goddesses do have many powerful abilities that could potentially allow them to affect Rimuru, their lack of demonstrable showings in combat against comparable beings makes the argument about as unreliable as their personalities. Leaving this win condition as a weaker argument than what one would like.

Rimuru’s Barriers

While Azusa has a massive AP advantage over Rimuru, is this as straightforward as her needing to land one hit on Rimuru to put the slime down, even ignoring his immortality?

Not exactly, no. Let's go over the nature of Multidimensional Barrier and Castle Guard. Uriel's Absolute Defense makes use of the Infinity Prison for its barrier, with the Infinity Prison having been said to be completely indestructible to physical attacks since its not a "physical" barrier. Its moreso a dimensional barrier with an infinitely vast imaginary number space inside of it, and its nature prevents outside forces from interacting with something inside of it, and is equal to Zegion's Distortion Field, which warps space to defend himself and negated an attack that pierces and severes dimensions. Multidimensional Barrier is superior Uriel, and provides protection "by a dimensional fault". Castle Guard is stated to have the same application as Uriel, but is also above it since defensive wise it has nullified Rimuru's Nihility, and attacks from Velgrynd, Shion, and Testarossa unable to penetrate it, with Castle Guard being able to nullify 99% of the hax in Slime. Tldr is that these barriers warp space and dimensions to protect the user, and aren't physically interacted with. Spiritrons, which ignore time and space, have the potential to slip pass Multidimensional Barrier, while Castle Guard blocks those out entirely, too. That being said, does Azusa have a way around either of these?

Unfortunately, this isn't likely. As far as Azusa's direct kit goes, nothing she possesses involves ignoring space time with her spells. So how about her goddess abilities? Being able to warp space and the laws and logics of the world certainly means Azusa might be able to breach the Multidimensional Barrier...if not for one problem. Like we mentioned in the previous section, the goddesses in Slime300 have simply not shown using these abilities in an offensive manner to make this likely to ever occur, with this extending to Azusa. And even if she could, that wouldn't entirely be full proof on its own seeing as Rimuru's barriers have nullified attacks that ignore space and time like the earlier mentioned Trinity Disintegration. Remember, the reason why spiritual particles are a threat to these barriers is not only because they ignore space and time, but they also move in unpredictable patterns, making it difficult, although not impossible, to analyze and nullify them. Azusa would have no of replicating how spiritrons act or knowing to alter space in such way to bypass his barrier, let alone figuring out Castle Guard.

So even with Azusa holding a massive AP advantage on Rimuru, it's unlikely she'd be able to capitalize on it due to not having a solid means to bypass his barriers.

Game Ending Abilities

Going into the final part of both their win cons, who has the capability to end the fight? This'll require a deep look into comparing both their abilities and resistances.

When discussing the strongest slime vs the slime killer herself, we can't not discuss Azusa's abilities that are geared towards countering slimes, such as her aura that strikes fear into slimes, causing them to collapse, or her instinctive reactions to slimes that lets her evade them even if they're faster than she is. Firstly, her fear aura would be ineffective here seeing as Rimuru has resisted Heroic Aura from both Gazel and Elmesia, with Heroic Aura similarly striking fear into and intimidating targets. As for Azusa's instinctive reactions, this is surprisingly something that she'd be unable to capitalize on for a speed advantage. Another character in TenSura, Xin, has a Unique level ability that lets him instinctively avoid danger and detect presences. And since this is at the Unique level, it wouldn't work on someone at the Ultimate level, so Azusa's own wouldn't work either. To top it off, Rimuru can use Haze to erase his presence completely, with Haze’s concealment operating at a level that Hakurou could evade an early series Rimuru's senses, whose senses were sharpened to detect movement, temperature, smell, sound, and everything else related to magicules, so Azusa's instinctive reactions very likely wouldn't come into play at all.

Now a quick speedrun over other abilities. Mind control? Spiritual Lifeforms resist influences on their mind since they think with their souls. Coupled with Ultimate Skill users having strong resistance to mind manipulation, this is out. How about sealing? Rimuru has both dimensional and time travel abilities and resistance to Unique level sealing abilities, so that's also out. Existence erasure, something that all of the goddesses have? Rimuru can take a hit from Meltslash, which erases people on a conceptual level, and that's without having a barrier to protect himself. With his barriers, he's tanked the Trinity Disintegration, which would be at a higher level of conceptual erasure since it is three times more powerful than a singular Disintegration. Even when factoring abilities she gets from RPG Witchcraft like stat reduction, poison inducement, and confusion, all would get resisted due to both Rimuru's spiritual lifeform physiology and Cancel Aliments skill. As for her more physical abilities, as mentioned already, they can't effectively get past Rimuru's Multidimensional Barrier or Castle Guard.

Something else that's important to address is that while both have the ability to copy powers, only Rimuru has resistance to power mimicry, so Azusa copying his powers isn't on the table, whereas Rimuru can. And since Rimuru can gain resistance to anything he's analyzed, Azusa would need something that can kill him in a single blow. Among her kit, does she have anything like that? Well, there's one other ability of hers we haven't addressed yet, and that's Smiting Evil.

Smiting Evil is potentially Azusa's most potent ability. The original user, Shalsha, was able to completely remove all of Azusa's abilities with it, and coupled with Azusa's significant AP advantage, the damage this would inflict could probably kill Rimuru if successfully pulled off. Its potency can also be increased the more specific it is, so if Azusa has it set to "Smiting Evil (Rimuru Tempest)", she'd bring out its max power for this fight. There are, however, a few issues with this. Azusa just doesn't have a way to find out Rimuru's name or gather information on him. And even if she did know his name and hit him with Smiting Evil, it's still debatable if that'd nullify his abilities given his resistance to abilities that negate powers and ignore resistances. Let's take a look:

The Paladins can neutralize the resistances of monsters when tapping into the power of the spirits they'd forged pacts with. Demon Slime Rimuru without his barriers can take a hit from Hinata's Meltslash while she's tapping into the power of the angels > higher with barriers > Anti Skill bypasses Demon Slime Rimuru's resistance and can shut down most magic in the verse. True Dragons are unaffected by Anti Skill, which would include Ultimate Slime Rimuru > higher with barriers > Rimuru would have Anti Skill after absorbing Luvelge to stack on to his resistance. That's four "layers" above baseline resistance. How does Smiting Evil stack up?

Smiting Evil is a fair bit more nebulous, and isn’t fully elaborated on. But let’s work on a highball here. Azusa already resists Wynona’s White Gaol, which is power nullification. Abilities in the gacha can nullify Azusa’s abilities regardless because she can use them on herself in clone battles. Then, Smiting Evil’s potency escalates based on how specific it is. If we go by the given metrics, General Smiting Evil -> Race-Specific Smiting Evil -> Individual-Specific Smiting Evil. Then, Azusa has a property on her spells that allows her to negate resistances on an enemy, potentially adding an extra layer. That could be five “layers” above resistance if you’re generous.

If you are generous, though. As said, Smiting Evil (like a lot of Azusa’s abilities) is fairly vaguely defined and it’s definitely possible to argue that some of these layers wouldn’t stack up or are unintended. With the hurdle of Azusa having to create Smiting Evil (Rimuru Tempest) for its max potency, as well as the margin of error for the argument being razor thin, it’s not really a consistent argument. If she doesn’t go for this specific line of action, and maximize its power completely, then Rimuru would most likely resist the effects regardless if you were to lowball the interpretation in any regard.

Now that we've addressed what among Azusa's abilities can and can't affect Rimuru, let's look at what he has that could potentially end the fight, and welllllll frankly speaking, he has quite a bit of options. Something Azusa has no resistance to is existence erasure, and Rimuru has multiple abilities that can erase on a conceptual level, such as the holy abilities Disintegration and Meltslash, both of which can even destroy TenSura's version of the "soul", which as we established is conceptual in nature. There's also Nihility Collapse, which is nonexistence erasure as it converts existence into nonexistence with its Negative Energy and can be used to split dimensions.

He could also just lock Azusa away in the dimensional Infinity Prison, which, even with Azusa's massive AP advantage, is something that can't be destroyed by physical means, and is nigh impossible to escape. Its power nulling, which could even affect the extremely magic resistant Veldora, would prevent Azusa from using any abilities that could potentially get her out of it like time travel.

Another major factor is the Suspended World. To Azusa's credit, she can resist time stops, so she'd still be able to act and fight back. However, what she wouldn't resist is the Suspended World's method of power nullification, with it freezing all magicules across the multiverse and preventing the usage of magic. Rimuru on the other hand, would still be able to use any of his slime inherent abilities and Nihility Collapse, with the latter as previously mentioned is something that Azusa wouldn't resist. And since Rimuru would have access to Primitive Magic, it's likely he'd just be able to use all of his abilities regardless even if the Suspended World is activated. In general, Azusa would have her arsenal shutdown and little ways of fighting back aside from throwing hands if this ever comes into play, which would just favor Rimuru due to his impenetrable barriers and dura negating abilities.

And finally, speaking of Rimuru's slime inherent abilities, another win con is Azathoth's powerful absorption. This thing can not only devour spirits, but even concepts like the heart core, with absorbed targets being converted into information. By the end of the series, its range is so great that Rimuru can absorb everything in his field of vision, so with both Azusa having no resistance to absorption and Azathoth's range, this would be easy for him to end the fight with. While he likely wouldn't resort to this, he technically can absorb the entire multiverse using Nihility Collapse. Even ignoring that though since that'd be out of character, as said, Azathoth's AoE is so vast that Azusa would realistically never be outside of its range of absorption.

So with everything taken into account, Azusa has one very unreliable possible win condition versus Rimuru’s multiple powerful certain win conditions that would also get past the strength advantage. This puts the pace of the fight very cleanly in Rimuru’s favor, alongside his other advantages in experience and allies. It seems like Rimuru Tempest has the win cons needed to seal the battle in his favor.

Summary

Rimuru

Advantages:

  • More skilled and experienced.
  • Equal in speed.
  • Can pinpoint openings and weak spots in Azusa's fighting style.
  • Much more versatile.
  • Can resist and counter most of Azusa's abilities.
  • Multiple abilities that can end the fight such as Nihility Collapse, Azathoth, and the Infinity Prison.
  • Azusa would struggle to bypass Multidimensional Barrier and Castle Guard.
  • Better abilities, resistances, combat experience, skill, unkillability, and teamwork gives the True Dragons an edge over Azusa's allies.
  • Suspended World would shut down Azusa's powers.
  • Ciel would constantly give information about Azusa and powers.
  • Skill Creation would have the advantage over Spell Creation due to Ciel coming up with perfect counters.

Disadvantages:

  • Much weaker that his reactive growth likely wouldn't close the gap.
  • Godness and Caven are much stronger than him and his allies.
  • Suspended World’s time stop can be resisted.
  • Digital Nature can be interacted with.
  • Higher interpretations of Smiting Evil could potentially negate his powers.
  • Spell Creation matches Skill Creation in its ability to create new powers.
  • Anime adaptation realllllllly tends to drag out the politics.

Azusa

Advantages:

  • Significantly stronger.
  • Equal in speed.
  • Godness and Caven are much stronger than Rimuru and his allies…
  • Resists the time stop aspect of the Suspended World…
  • Digital Nature can be interacted with.
  • Smiting Evil if highballed is potentially more potent than Rimuru's resistances…
  • Matches Rimuru's Skill Creation with her own Spell Creation…
  • Bigger hat.
  • Bigger harem. (NOT A HAREM!)

Disadvantages:

  • Far less skilled and experienced, actively to her own detriment.
  • More openings and weak spots for Rimuru to take advantage of.
  • Less versatile by a significant margin.
  • Goddesses lack a lot of combat showings for their more esoteric abilities.
  • A lot of abilities are counteracted or resisted against by Rimuru's own.
  • Lacks resistances and counters for fight-ending abilities such as Nihility Collapse, Azathoth, and the Infinity Prison.
  • Will struggle to bypass Multidimensional Barrier and Castle Guard.
  • …but fall short in terms of abilities, reliability, and teamwork.
  • …but does not resist the unconventional power nullification aspect, leaving her powerless.
  • …but requires a very specific version of it that is unlikely to come up, and lower interpretations may fail regardless
  • …but is less skilled at using it compared to Ciel.
  • In the closet.

Conclusion

This match was surprisingly complicated to figure out, but all roads seem to lead to the same outcome. Azusa holds a few important advantages, such as surpassing Rimuru’s strength, matching him in speed, and Smiting Evil’s potential negation. However, Rimuru’s greater arsenal has left him with a match that Azusa hasn’t seen before. He has multiple ways of ending the fight that Azusa has no counter to, like Nihility Collapse, Azathoth, and the Infinity Prison. He’s far more experienced in battle and has a supercomputer that helps guide his movements. He has significantly more reliable and potent allies. And he has ways to mitigate the strength gap with defensive abilities such as Multidimensional Barrier and Castle Guard. His advantages significantly outnumber Azusa’s own, finally letting the Strongest Slime surpass the Slime Killer in this battle.

The winner is Rimuru Tempest.

Quick Matches Shout Out

Rimuru vs Ainz

(TN by animator3003)

King Conch: The appeal of this match is immediately obvious. You have two isekai'd humans turned into some of the most iconic monsters in fantasy and the supreme leaders of powerful monster nations in a world of human civilizations (and elves and dwarves too but shh). What makes this idea fun to me is that this match features firstly, the novelty of having a slime, one of the weakest of all monsters, face down a lich, one of the strongest. Secondly, the fact that whilst Rimuru retains his human heart, he's willing to cast it aside when his people are in danger. But Ainz? While he's normally operating as his human self, his new reality as lich compels him to act as a monster, committing atrocities en masse, many of which the human within often finds insane.

So we take these two and place them in a situation where the demon lord with the heart of a man who seeks to co-exist alongside humans as equals is confronted by a new monstrous overlord who deems it fit to subjugate all the non-monster races of the world and stand at the top of the new world order. It's a perfect opportunity to show off their deeper characterization, their wide array of powers and even bring their nations into the fold and pit their worldviews against each other to see which monster's worldview wins out in the end.

Vaelle: So the obvious match. Two guys named Satoru who die and isekai into another world, become one of the strongest beings alive in said world, who lead large nations and engage in politics to achieve their goals (Ainz trying to seize control over the entire world and subjugate all humans, and Rimuru to bring an equal world for everyone, monsters and humans alike). Overlord was also stated by TenSura's creator Fuse to be the main inspiration for Slime. Quite literally a “two sides of the same coin” match.

Yeah, it's pretty stompy not even gonna deny that, but imo it still works overall. I've seen some say Rimuru's “scale” is too far above Ainz, which isn't really the case. Sure, he has statements that'd put him far above stats, but visually, he's not blowing up universes ever, and that's because he usually tries to minimize as much damage to the environment as possible (along with the Cardinal universe just being much sturdier than your average universe). Even the statement about him slashing at Luvelge with enough force to destroy multiple universes doesn't have universes actually get destroyed since the shockwave was contained. Generally, he relies on his hax, swordsmanship, and information gathering from Ciel in fights. The most visually impressive character in Slime consistently would be Milim since she's much more destructive on average and is actually shown blowing up a universe.

Of course, it's also understandable if the stat gap turns some off. Personally, I tend to care more about scale differences more than stat differences, since a huge scale difference can break suspension of disbelief.

Rimuru vs Kumoko

(TN by timefreezer4)

Timefreezer: Aside from the basic theme of both being reincarnated as typically weak monsters in an isekai world before becoming gods, I think the main appeal of it for me is all of the little ways in which their series are so similar. It's a match where the more you look into it, the more points you can bring up between the series, and that also allows them to mesh rather well in terms of how the series operate tonally and how the characters generally fight.

For Rimuru, most of his other ideas either have next to no interesting core theme or have him fight characters so woefully outclassed by his plethora of abilities to the point that an evenish fight feels impossible to sell believably. Kumoko's not his strongest opponent, but she is one of the hardest to put down, and she has abilities that can give him a pretty solid fight for her level of strength.

For Kumoko, most of her other options have an issue where they can't realistically survive her go-to techniques in a fight, which makes it tough to choreograph anything interesting since you need to bullshit why she doesn't just teleport the opponent into another dimension, bisect them with spatial cutting, disintegrate them with a glance, etc. Rimuru is more than able to stand against her, and brings a great, very tactical fight for her on top of it.

Vaelle: This is a match that Timefreezer has been really selling me on the past few months. I've yet to check Kumo Desu myself and have been curious about this since it's one of Rimuru's bigger options, so it's been cool getting to understand why it's a thing.

As an aside, TenSura seems to have inspired the spider isekai just based on some stuff we've talked about. Tensura’s Voice of the World is similar to Kumo Desu’s Divine Voice, something that announces levels and skill increases in the verse. The series also has True Dragons, funny enough. As far as animation potential goes, Time for the most part said what I'd have, and this being a match that you can lean into a tactical angle for Rimuru is something I appreciate. The match might be a stomp too based on what I've heard about Kumoko's abilities and stats, though you can still reasonably sell her giving Rimuru a fight as far as the animation goes. She's pretty cracked herself in overall abilities. I would love to see her get a blog someday (wink wink nudge).

Overall I don't really care if Rimuru gets a “fair” match or not. As long as it's cool, has an interesting cohesive theme, and its vs someone that's unga bunga enough to feasibly stand against him in the animation, that's all I'd really want.

Jinsye: This is my favorite match for Rimuru, and I think it fundamentally works well for both. They both have a similar core theme that’s inspired by each other, have a good core question that’s like “How do their systems interact”, and also just have so many abilities that play off of each other. It would be nice if it wasn’t a crazy statstomp but Kumoko’s got a lot of hax to keep her in the game regardless.

Azusa Aizawa vs Yumiella Dolkness

(TN by Jinsye)

Jinsye: Azusa is obviously the significantly less popular character here, so I wasn’t expecting to go into matchups for her but I did come across two that I quite like and had to shout out. This is the first! Yumiella is the protagonist of “Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord”, and this match kind of just snuck up on me as something that conceptually makes way too much sense. Two isekaied girls who mostly just wanted to live a peaceful life without drawing much attention to themselves, but then ended up level grinding so hard that they maxxed out their stats and became the most powerful beings in their entire worlds, and also getting way too much trouble and attention because of it. They also both ascend even further despite their maxxed out levels to godhood. It’s a lot of fun and they each have a lot of powers that play off each other well.

If you ignore R>F stuff for Yumiella (I don’t think you’d use her pre-reincarnated self there), the match probably depends. If you buy the Godness’ slime world getting to multiversal, Azusa might statstomp but Yumi is probably better at using her hax than Azusa is. So, it could honestly go either way. But like, regardless it’s a hidden gem from two underappreciated series.

Azusa Aizawa vs Adele von Ascham

(TN by u/MagicalMusical1)

Jinsye: If you’re looking more into the genre of “cute girls doing cute things” then this matchup should suit your tastes perfectly. Adele von Ascham, also known as Mile, is the protagonist of “Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!” and she does thematically pair up with Azusa very well. They’re both overpowered isekaied girls who make a wish to God that ends up resulting in both of them becoming super powerful and being the center of attention despite their wanting to not be famous. They also both have a pretty strong found family vibe, so aesthetically and tonally they match very well. Both of these series are pretty silly and also pretty absurd, and that’s a perfect tonal mix that could lead to very fun interactions.

Who wins? Well, there’s a little something at the end of this blog that I’d like to share before getting into that. So, keep on reading! But if you like fun, silly, and carefree stories, then Average Abilities is definitely worth checking out.

Vaelle: I've actually seen the anime of Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average waaaaay back (which I learned cut out a ton from the LN. Not surprised…) so I'm curious to learn what happens with Mile beyond where it left off, and would be down with this match. As far as Azusa matches go, it's probably my second favorite for her after Rimuru since I'm already familiar with Mile and get the vibe of the match, and would like to see her get a deep dive someday.

Special Thanks

Shout out to Timefreezer, who made a few of the scaling images in Rimuru’s scaling section after offering to do it for the blog. Said it already, but he also sold me on Rimuru vs Kumoko being a great option for Rimuru.

Credit for the TenSura calculations in this goes to Vs Wiki.

And of course, shout outs to both Primehydra and Jinsye, the other researchers for this blog. Primehydra has been into the slime isekai longer than I have, and given how information heavy the franchise is, I asked for his assistance in helping with Rimuru. He's actually responsible for a majority of the terminology section, explaining Nihility Collapse, and helping with Veldora's section, who is one of his favorite characters in the franchise. He also has a page on vs wiki dedicated to keeping track of checked translations for TenSura located here that was really helpful. This would've taken a good awhile longer if I had to entirely work on Rimuru solo lol. As for Jinsye, she worked on Azusa all by herself, which definitely wasn't easy since Slime300 has never been deep dived prior to this. She also did all the calcs on Azusa's side. Fun fact, this was originally going to be a solo Rimuru blog, but after discussing it in dms what a good collab option would be, she settled on researching Azusa, which I'm very happy about. I've seen Rimuru vs Azusa pop up now and then and I understood the core theme, but since no one knew Azusa, I never knew if she had the abilities to play off Rimuru before we started this, which I can now say she in fact does, and is one of my top three picks for a Rimuru episode (when) if he gets in Death Battle. Be sure to check back here occasionally, since Jinsyse plans on starting up her own vs blogs that'll primarily be covering LN characters, of which I'll provide a link for once her first one is done.

Anyways, that's a wrap! While I don't expect this blog to suddenly make Rimuru vs Azusa overtake Rimuru’s other options like Ainz and Kumoko in overall popularity (which I'm fine with since I like those options too), I at least hope it gives the match more spotlight among Rimuru matches. And while I have some ideas on what blogs I wanna cover next, I plan on taking a loooong break from blog work because admittedly TenSura was kinda taxing given how complex it is with its power system and had quite a bit of media to look into. Not to say I didn't enjoy it, since I do love the verse and LNs are a medium I think in general could use more coverage as far vs goes. But yeah, hope y'all found this a fun read!

And for that other blog above, well, the first match is already in production and underway. So, check it out if you’re interested!
